Crew ripped up old carpeting and put down laminent flooring in dining room, kitchen. Hallway and living room. I arrived home just as they were leaving. Debris and dirt all over new floor. I spent several hours vacuuming and mopping. I had to run out to lowes to pick up new mop. I swear I had one in garage. My snow shovel that was buried in garage was in my living room. They used it as a dust pan. I used my shop vac to clean and then mopped floors. They were only one of the company?s that quoted job that could do floor on stairs. The stair treads were one piece laminent and a raised bull nose trim on end of treads. A severe tripping hazard. Not what I expected. My two labs hard very hard time on them. Any aged person would not do well on them. I bitched. And was told that was standard step. I found another supplier that had one piece treads. Completely flat. Floor coverings found similar tread that matched floors well. I had bitched to owner about poor clean up. Even after I had cleaned floors he came over and mopped again. Washer and dryer were in a closet. Crew had removed Closet doors and didn?t reinstall. Also dryer vent was not connected. Owner reconnect dryer vent. But dryer wouldn?t go back in closet all the was so door would close. I ended up running back to lowes and completely redoing vent. Adhesive was also tracked in over new floors, owner had cleaned. A two day job took almost 3 weeks. I had used leaf blower to clean up in front of house on day one. Worker had trimmed all new stairs right outside my front door. I had to blow again. Also adhesive was left right outside my front door. Will be there for years. This company was by far the most expensive. I was sold by owner that all crew members are trained at company?s headquarters for a week. Read contract, they sub out work. I?m not a perfectionist. I also do some work myself. I needed job to be done quickly and want professional quality. Next time I?ll do myself
