Piano Tuning
We were given a piano free from a friend at church. It was badly out of tune, and so we called this piano tuner. Turns out, the piano we were given had been left outside - it was full of a squirrel's nuts and had water and other serious internal damage. The piano tuner gave us the sad but truthful news: this piano was beyond repair, and he didn't charge us for the visit. I appreciated his truthfulness, as he certainly could have spent the time to tune it (sort of ) and then charged us for it, or worse, tried to talk us in to expensive repairs. Instead, he didn't. He told us the truth and didn't even charge us for it. We're grateful!
