 + 0 moreExtremely stressful. Price per tasking IS 37%-40% higher than mean rate per performed tasking function with NO ADDED service or quality in craftmenship to justify higher pricing. A 7-10 day job approx.40 hrs was 15 1/2 days. Recommendation if considering using: MAKE SURE THE PROPOSAL MATCHES LINE ITEM TO LINE ITEM YOUR WORK ORDER developed from the walk thru and discussion, use your voice recorder upon walk thru with contractor, based on a detailed/accurate proposal get 3 other quotes from local contractors, get copies of all licences and insurance, make sure the contract has a START DATE AND END DATE, AND REQUEST a waiver of lien before every payment is made as the project moves forward.
Description of Work: Paint garage, Paint spare room 14X11, added window, door and base molding. Paint mst bedroom 14X12, Window, base & door trim. Removed popcorn ceiling in both rooms. My wish list/work order: paint garage, paint bedrooms, remove mirrored closet doors - replace with wood bi-folds. The other functions: trim, molding, popcorn removal were recommended by contractor, discussed based on my budget/wish list AND in the original proposal.
