Whole 9 Yards Lawn Care & Landscapes
About us
Our company’s story began when owner Charles Sheaf was just a senior in high school. Opening CJS Lawn & Landscaping in 1986, he began serving customers with the help of his used Sears’ tractor and 1977 Ford Bronco truck. Over time, Charlie realized his customers were seeking a total property maintenance partner: a single-source solution to their landscaping needs. One phone call, one bill, without the hassle of multiple contractors. While the company was rebranded in 2014 to update our look and better depict our services, Whole 9 Yards’ client-focused service approach stands almost three decades’ strong. We’re proud to serve customers who have been with us since the beginning—and grateful to welcome new clients to our growing family. Whole 9 Yards is the ideal solution for busy, discerning homeowners who need a go-to company for routine lawn care, tree & shrub care, landscape maintenance, and horticultural expertise.

The beds that surround the house, are mulched with 3/4" red gravel which went into rock heaven over 30 years. In 2013, I had Whole 9 Yards rejuvenate the front landscape by removing a huge River Birch that was planted in one corner that way too close to the house, remove a 10 ft. overgrown Pine, remove a Rhododendron and replace these with 6-7' Hemlocks . After the new trees were planted, 12 tons of the 3/4 " red gravel was spread around 3 sides of the house. The cost was 2,604.00 plus tax. It was an amazing transformation and a job very well done! I am very happy that I found Whole 9 Yards!
