Whatever you do, please do NOT hire them! Don't go through what I went through. I had previously worked with Walter and Eddy to have mulch added to my front yard. This summer I decided to hire them to put together a stone patio. After I explained my plan (which was just basic not fancy at all) they told me it would take 2 weeks of work with 2 manhours a day. Basically, 2 men and 10 days of work. The priced that was agreed upon was $1000 a day for labor only. After they started the work, I realized that they were really slacking. One of them (so called hardscaping pros) took 2 full days to put together 4 steps of 4 feet wide with just wall blocks and caps. They would also hire illegal workers from the street for $10-15 and make me pay for full days of work for each. At times it would just be one guy working and 3 others just standing there and looking at him work. What was supposed to be a $10,000 labor work job turned to be $19,000 for an incomplete job. When I finally fired them, the job was now where near completion. They saw me coming and milked me. Be aware of these clowns!

Two man crew arrived right on time. We needed leaves and small branches in the front, sides and back yards moved to the curb for pickup by the township. The crew was very efficient and got every leaf in all of the yards out to the curb quickly. They piled them all neatly without blocking the roadway so the township can pick them up. We're very pleased with the job they did.

Fantastic and outstanding, work delivered on time, when promised, very efficiently, no change in pricing, looks great, great improvement in the “curb appeal” for our house!

Walter his brother and wife were wonderful. They worked really really hard weeding, mulching and trimming shrubs to make our yard look beautiful. I highly recommend them. We will definitely hire them again.

I followed the questionnaire on what I have and needed. Grass wasn’t bagged and the price changed not by me but by them(bait and switch). Initial cost was$1100. Tried to charge me over $3000

Walter and his removed tall hay grass plants, weeded out area under a row of pine trees and created a new mulch bed with weed fabric under same trees. They also trimmed some branches on other trees around the yard. I have used this vendor before and they are very reliable and the work quality is top notch. Would definitely hire again

Walter did an excellent job. He returned my call same day, came out and did a verbal estimate promptly, and did the work on the day planned. One suggestion would be to provide customer with a written estimate and more importantly a written itemized invoice at time of payment. I would definitely recommend Sarah’s landscape

Walter and Eddie cleaned/moved all the leaves from my yard to the curb for municipal pickup. They also trimmed back some ornamental plants and cut up/removed a fallen tree limb. Very pleased with the results and would definitely hire again! This is the second time I've used this vendor and very satisfied with the results on both occasions.

From day one, the vendor did not follow up as agreed. It took the entire month of August before a connection was made with the vendor to discuss pricing for my project. I should have heeded this warning at the time, but I initially thought that the $179.00 4 hour package was a good price for the entire project - that would also come back to haunt me. This vendor really did not offer a total package price for the entire work regardless to number of workers. When it was time to pay the contractor for the work done, we derived at very different numbers and I had to have an Angie's List Customer Service Representative to intervene. I have used landscaping packages in the past with Angie's List and the number of hours advertised with the price for the work is the actual total cost of the package plus tax - regardless of number of workers. This contractor deceitfully crafted the confusing language to read that the customer was actually paying a rate based upon the number of workers who reported to the sight. The Angie's List customer service representative was also surprised about the untypical confusing language, as this turned out to not really be a package promotion at all. To add insult to injury, Eddy and his brother Walter informed me when on site to attain an estimate that the work I needed done would require more than 4 hours, as such I asked the contractor what would be the TOTAL cost for the project along with the total hours required. Eddy (Walter's brother) who works with him and speaks a little better English than Eddy informed me that the project required 6 hours and the total cost would be $269.00 plus tax for the so called promotional yard work package. Eddy nor did Walter never stated to me that the real number would be rate of $269.00 Per person in which they would decide how many people would be on the project with the customer totally in the dark with no controls over that variable. Had I known up front that this was an hourly rate per person - I would have never contracted this vendor. I will call this what it really is, FALSE advertisement. To make matters worse, the Angie's List representative that I had to speak with on day the service was completed asked the vendor since the unusual language they had spelled out with this so called promotion would at least meet the customer half way and split the portion of the rate up to and beyond the 6 hours since the work extended to 6.5 hours. Begrudgingly they did, but only for the .5 hour not the entire 6 hours. To make matters worse, I specifically asked the contractor for an itemized receipt for the work done and was advised by Eddy and Walter that they would send me a an itemized invoice via a PDF file, since they were unprofessionally unprepared to provide me with even a basic sales receipt the day the work was complete. I already was very concerned about this and reported it with Angie's List - who eventually informed me to write a review about my encounter with this landscaper. Long story short, I have made five request via emails through Angie's List and via voice messages to Sarah's Landscaping LLc. only for these request to fall on death ears. I have escalated matters, as I have reported this company to the Better Business Bureau, The NJ Division of Taxation to now legally pursue this organization. Buyer Beware!
