I had my wood flooring in my dining room and hallway refinished by them in April. After 3-4 weeks, tiny clear bubbles started appearing between the cracks. I stopped by the store and they were shocked that this happened and said they never heard of that happening. A google search by me proved otherwise. It is a common problem - it has something to do with heat and and cold as it cures. He told me John would come by to take a look at it. He came a few days later and took pictures and said he would talk with the refinisher and call me by the next day. One whole week went by and no phone call. I called again and the person I spoke with said I will have John give you a call. ANOTHER WEEK went by and still no call. I called again two weeks after John came by and Ralph said he will have John call me. I said well that's the problem - he doesn't call me back. By now I am mad and said after spending all that money, having the bubble problem and now John not returning my phone calls now I'm really angry. So Ralph said I will take care of this for you. I will send the worker who actually did the job to your house tomorrow between 2:00 and 5:00 and he will screen it (buff) and may have to apply another coat of polyurethane. I said thank you. So they show up after 6:00. They decide to lightly sand the floor, vacuum, and apply another coat of polyurethane. They did this in 30 minutes and I can tell they were in a rush to go home. I have a dog so now I have dog hair glued down to the floor along with other dirt because they didn't vacuum thoroughly. I should have left it alone and lived with the bubbles.

Staff was knowledgeable when we went to show room to select flooring and it was easy to arrange appointment for the measure.  On day of install arrived as expected and completed professionally with no issues.

AMAZING!  Ted and his crew are amazing!  We were moving into our new home and wanted to have the existing vinyl flooring removed and have new flooring installed prior to our new washer and dryer getting delivered.  We stopped into Best Tile and Wood one night and were greeted by Ted.  Ted was extremely friendly and very knowledgable.  Ted asked us a few questions about what we were looking for.  Ted then showed us a couple of possible suggestions.  Based on our reactions and some additional questions Ted then showed us a beautiful Italian porcelain tile which was more amazing than what we had hoped for. Ted explained the differences in terms of durability with natural stone vs ceramic vs porcelain.  Ted also made recommendations regarding the correct tile sizes and pattern based on our space.  It was December 16, 2011.  We explained to Ted we were moving in on December 19 and 20, 2011 and we were hoping to have the tile floor installed on December 21, 2011.  Ted said he could do it.  We were extremely impressed and signed a contract on the spot.  Ted's installer arrived on December 21, 2011 as promised and like an old world craftsman meticulously installed each and every tile.  We were nothing less than amazed by the final results.  The floor is more beautiful than we had ever imagined.  We fully intend to use Ted and Best Tile and Wood for future projects and would highly highly recommend Ted and Best Tile and Wood to everyone else!  Marty & Lauren
