It wasn't put in properly. There were spaces all around the microwave. The shelf he made was crooked and my husband had to redo it all. He didn't seem to have the right tools. He didn't even use a level. He did very shotty work. He said he was a master carpenter, and he couldn't have been.
Description of Work: He put in a microwave above our built in wall oven.

In response to the negative comments about the countertop microwave from the member. I had to modify an existing poorly installed and poorly built tall oven cabinet which I could not correct. I moved the existing oven down to the bottom of the cabinet and used the existing top opening to install a shelf. (the shelf was used to support the microwave oven). I aligned the shelf over the oven so it would not look misaligned. I asked him where the trim kit was that he ordered, to give it a built-in look. He said they did not have it but to go ahead and install the countertop microwave oven without the trim kit. I said to him, I would have to leave a small opening around the microwave in order to get it out if necessary. I said when you get the trim kit in, I'll come back and install the trim kit at no charge. I have been building cabinets for over thirty years and I have been in business for more that twenty years. To the best of my knowledge, not one complaint has been written to the Better Business Bureau about the quality of our work. Eighty five percent of TLC Designs Inc. jobs are referred by previous clients.
