George J. Keller & Sons, LLC is a second generation, family-owned home improvement company specializing in Roofing, Siding, Windows and Solar. We started as a “Mom & Pop” roofing company in 1980, working out of our Dad’s house in Flanders, with one truck and one roofing crew. We’re now one of New Jersey's most well respected, small businesses in Flanders, and one of only 2 contractors in all of New Jersey to receive the GAF 3-Star President's Club designation, the most prestigious honor from the leader in roofing. We apologize that you did not get a response, but we have absolutely no record for any inquiry from this member. We went back to the middle of November and listened to every incoming call again and we did not find any voicemails from this member. We also checked inquiries from our website and Angies list and they all came back empty. We will be stopping by this persons house to knock on the door to see if they are confused as to who they were calling.

Description of Work: I needed a replacement roof over our sun porch. They came out promptly and provided a complete assessment of the entire roof and provide photos of the sections that needed attention. I was very pleased that they went on the roof to make the assessment as others had not taken the time. They performed the work on a Saturday. The job was completed as promised, matched the tiles, and cleaned up the area perfectly. The team was polite and professional.

Description of Work: Very professional communications before and during the job. Tore off old roof, installed new roof. They accidentally disconnected the bathroom exhaust vent pipes that exit through the roof. If I had not discovered it, it would have blown warm, moist air into the attic and could have led to mold or rot. The job supervisor apologized and he and the owner promised to be more diligent in the future. I believe them. | |They also installed continual soffit vents. | |Overall, a very nice job.

The homeowner had reached out to us during the winter of 2013/2014 with complaints of water leaking into the bathroom. I visited the homeowners' house on a Saturday morning at which time she explained that the roof was less than 10 years old and had been installed by another contractor. She showed me her bathroom where the leak was occurring and showed me the attic above where the leak was occurring. I immediately determined that the leak was not due to her roof, but due to her bathroom exhaust fan not being attached to an exterior vent. When the homeowner would take a shower and turn on the exhaust fan, the hot air was being blown into her attic and causing condensation to form on the cold tongue and groove sheathing. I told her what she needed to do to fix the issue and even gave her the name of someone to call because this type of work is not something that we do. We do not provide estimates for work that we do not do but we do try to point the homeowner in the right direction on how to fix the issue, which is what we did in this case.

Arrived on time. What they said was going to take around 2 days took 1 hour!!!!!Fast service and very courteous. We haven't had any rain so time will tell. But they had much confidence in their work.
Description of Work: Our roof was leaking badly. The roofers came after an initial call and did a pre-inspection. The gave us a price of around 1K to remove all of the shingles and replace with ice/water dam.

Water was seeping in behind the wall where a new addition met the existing house. Dan Keller (son) came out to assess the problem, determine how to fix it and give us an estimate. Because there were design flaws involved with the addition, it was an unusual problem and Dan was one of a very few roofing/siding contractors who were willing to touch it and provide a guarantee. His recommended fix was to replace the roof and siding and reinforce specific areas that were contributing to the problem. Because the roof on the existing house was due for a replacement, he gave us a 2nd estimate which included replacing our old roof along with fixing our addition problem. This is the option we took. Workers were at the house first thing in the morning. Large tarps were laid around the property and they were careful around my shrubs. Old shingles & siding were removed pretty quickly. The crew was there all day and the job was completed around 7pm. George Keller (father) was present during most of the work and I was glad to see him personally overseeing things. The job was completed 9 months ago and we have not had any water issues since then. Their price was reasonable; they fixed our problem and guaranteed the work. I highly recommend them for any roofing or siding job.

They were great. They got the job done quickly. There were some lower bids, but we had heard they were so good. The building inspector gave them the thumbs. They were efficient.
Description of Work: They replaced wood posts and railings with vinyl. They took out the wood and put in vinyl. They cleaned up the site and hauled it away. We had to wait for awhile because some parts didn't show up. There was some trim that I wasn't happy about. They didn't do some of the seams like I thought. It looks pretty. I think it is a design house.

Salesman Chris (one of George's sons) arrived for an estimate exactly when he said he would. He attentively listened to a description of the work desired. He was interested in other work I asked about but at no time was there any pressure. He preferred to concentrate on the immediate work at hand. He took measurements and promised a quote would be sent by email. He delivered that quote promptly. It contained exact details of the materials, the cost of labor and materials in a professional package. When I delayed making a decision on scheduling the work, he periodically and politely followed up with me via email. When I scheduled the work, the crew arrived promptly and completed the job quickly and cleanly. The only remnants of the job were 2 or 3 discarded roofing nails that even I didn't see for a few weeks. Since then, my neighbor across the street also had a roof done by them based on my recommendation.
