Keller and sons repair my roof about 14 months ago (great job) and I just recently had some wind damage to an area that was close to where they had been working but did not need replacing at the time, I contacted Keller and sons and informed them of my situation the next day I was contacted by both mike and dan Keller letting me know someone will be out the next day to make my repair NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!!!! The next day my repair was completed free of charge. It’s nice to know there are some businesses still doing business the old fashion way. Thanks Keller and sons. John hopatcong nj

Roof was 25 years old and was due for replacement. I also had old LP fiberboard siding that needed replacing in some sections mainly the chimneys. The rest was ok and I couldn't see spending the money to replace it all. George Keller did a terrific job on the roof and worked with me to match the LP siding using James Hardie siding. Carl the estimator took his time gave me a detailed estimate with pictures showing all the sections of siding that would be replaced. George Keller had done other houses in our neighborhood and one neighbor, an architect, used them, so that speaks to their reputation. I would highly recommend them. They are very efficient and neat and will finish your job in a day or two.

I am rating these guys a D because of the way they handled the quote and scheduling of my job. The actual work they did was great. I had used them in the past to have my roof replaced and that experience was fantastic, so I went with them again to repair rotted trim and replace my gutters prior to having my house painted. Carl came to do the estimate in June, and I walked him around to show him generally where the damage was, but was very clear that I wanted any and all rotted trim and gutters replaced before I brought in painters, who would be coming in right behind them. A few days later he emailed me a quote that had a laundry list of items to be repaired. Shame on me, I didn't walk around my house and reconcile everything that was on the quote to everything that was damaged, I trusted that he had followed my instructions, and had quoted me for all the damaged trim. Now the fun begins. I paid my deposit in June, and it took until the second week of August for the trim crew to show up. Within 5 minutes, the foreman was at my door telling me that there several damaged areas not included in the quote, but not to worry, he would take care of it, wouldn't be that much more. I said OK, because I had already scheduled the painters for the following week. When the revised estimate came back, it was $2800 more for two corners of my garage and one piece of rake (fascia). This was half what the original quote for all the damaged trim was, and there was still more that wasn't included. After a couple of angry emails, I finally got them down to only $900 more (still not happy), but ended up fixing the remaining damage myself (two full corners of my house and a piece of soffit, all of which I had pointed out to Carl) so that the painters could finish. Total cost for me to do it...$125 in material and 6 hours of work. On top of all this, my understanding was that the gutters would be done right after the trim, so I scheduled painters in mid August. Wrong. The trim was done in early Aug, the gutter crew didn't show up until early September (again, after several angry emails), so I spent a month and several thunderstorms without several gutters/leaders, and water pouring down the sides of my newly painted house. And now I need to go back and paint where the other leaders were removed, because different hardware was used for the new leaders. Icing on the cake was that after everything was done, it took another two weeks (and more emails) to get the 16' pallet of extra material out of my driveway. Long story short, I could have done most of the trim myself, but I brought these guys in because I am 50+, and don't want to be hauling and scaling to the top of 32' ladders anymore on my weekends, but that is exactly what I ended up doing, twice. Once to fix the trim they left out of the quote, once to repaint parts of my freshly painted house. Its a shame too, because I have a bunch of windows that will need to be replaced in the next year or two, but after this debacle, someone else will get the job.

Excellent. Keller kept us well informed and on the date of installation, they were punctual, professional, friendly and responsive to any questions I had. I would definitely recommend anyone give them the chance to bid on a project. I am very pleased.

Received excellent service and a high-quality siding installation from George J Keller & Sons. Our historic home has cedar bevel siding, which had failed prematurely due to another provider’s poor quality materials and workmanship. We hired G J Keller to replace the shoddy installation we had inherited, and to “do the job right” with new cedar material, which is precisely what they delivered. From the initial consult meetings/proposal, through the the scheduling, installation, closeout and cleanup, my end-to-end experience with G J Keller was top-notch. Every interaction I had with the team was a pleasure; with Dan (proposal/contract), Jaime (back-office/scheduling), Ray (project manager), Jesus (crew foreman), Mike (senior installation expertise). There were a couple challenging/tricky installation details on our job, and I felt those were handled by Mike/Ray very thoughtfully, patiently and creatively, with a high focus on making sure I was going to ultimately be satisfied with the end result. Across the board I found the entire staff to be accommodating, competent, responsive and communicative professionals who delivered a high-quality install, with great customer service, at a fair price. Highest marks to Dan, Mike, and the extended team at GJ Keller. Would strongly recommend to others, and would use again myself, without hesitation.

Dan Keller and team do a very good job. They replace my roof as well as installed a solar panel system. They provide timely responses, show up on time and are priced reasonably. They are also very good at follow up on post installation matters.

Contractor never responded to my call or email

George J. Keller is a very professional company that stands by its work. We had leak the day we took over our new home. They sent someone out very quickly and did a repair to stop the leak. We later used them to install a new roof. They did a great job with the installation and all the trim work. They stand by their work making a small adjustment when needed and inspecting the roof for a leak that turned out to be masonry.

Work was completed in one day and the foreman and crew were very friendly. They did an excellent job on replacing my roof and removed all of the shingles on the ground after the work was completed. I would highly recommend George Keller.

They explained everything that was going to happen in detail. Arrived on time, workers were polite, cleaned up completely. In two days, the work was done, My house is surrounded by plants and not one was damaged. You wouldn't know they were there, except for the wonderful looking new roof. I am very happy with the work.

They have done an excellent job on the roof! The estimate was detailed and included pictures to highlight the roof issues. Other estimates were just a vague list of estimated costs and couldn't tell if they were going to resolve the roof issues. The team was responsive and the work was done beautifully. They did an excellent job with cleanup and we could barely tell that they were even there. Highly recommend them.

Dan came for the initial estimate. Went up on the roof and inspected the condition. Gave a presentation of the three different options on his tablet. Showed initial pics of troubled areas. The three options differed in the type of underlayment used in the roofing process. Installation day went smoothly. Mike and crew was punctual and there was no hiccups. They were able to complete the job in one day. Clean-up of the nails in the yard initially was ok. I went to a local hardware store a bought a $10 magnetic sweeper and found about 50 nails and a broken saw blade. I called the next day and Mike came back immediately and did another sweep of the yard. I would recommend going out and buying a cheap magnetic sweeper and every few days do another sweep. Granted there was probably 10,000 nails and they did get 99% of it. In the scheme of things this is a minor issue. Overall the roof looks great and the office personnel were wonderful to work with as well.

George Keller is great, he did a great job. I don’t remember their cost, but it was reasonably priced. They were just professional, responsive. They worked with us in creating a solution. They didn’t have to do nothing like replacing our whole roof. They came out and did the job quickly and did it right. We haven’t had to call back.

Excellent and professional company- all the workers were pleasant and courteous. Roof was done in one day- they did a wonderful job on clean up- haven't found anything on my property from taking off the roof and adding the new one. Would highly recommend using George J. Keller for a new roof. Love the new color of the roof, really makes the house pop!!!
