Very professional and caring treatment, very considerate, especially with regard to a cat we loved, who Dr, Slade eventually had to put down in a very humane and loving manner in our home.  The only downside is that they want to keep a cat I don't like alive, which made my wife happy, at least.

Visit went very well. My cat is fractious and must be sedated during some treatment including this one. Dr. Lovell could immediately tell that there was and infection in the paw and determined by testing and microscopic viewing the type. dr. Lovell did an overall exam to check for any other anomalies - there were none Bosco received a shot of long lasting antibiotic. . Nails were clipped, sedation reversed, and we went home with medicine to be given orally. Dr. Lovell loves Bosco although Bosco still doesn'tand quot;t take that well to the doc. Word to the wise: invest in pet insurance!

At this visit, only a nail clipping was performed on my cat, but for the first time my cat did not have to be sedated. My cat is considered and quot;fractiousand quot; and does not like vet visits at all and has been coming to see Dr. John Lovell for five years. Each time my cat would have to be sedated before being examined and treated even for something as minor as a nail clipping. But with this last visit, one of the techs took my cat and with the help of another tech was able to keep my cat calm enough to perform the clipping without any sedation or problem. I was thrilled because the sedation is something I hate to have to put my cat through. Now I am hoping that his annual visit in May will go more smoothly.

Made an appointment for June 5th, they called and left a message to confirm for June 3th. When I called back they said June 4th?!?! I walked in at 10:30 and left at 12:15 pm! They claimed they were backed up because of emergencies but I only saw one costumer walk in with a cat (which they took ahead of me to clip the nails). The assistant appologized but not the vet. Did he know I was there, did he care I was waiting that long with 2 kittens ? The actual exam by the vet took about 15 minutes. The vet looked confused or hurried or preoccupied, he asked me the s** of the kittens (could he not see ?), he seemed to have trouble calculating the schedule for vaccination for each of the kittens (they have different ages). I do not trust this clinic.

Flanders Veterinary Clinic was very nice and competent. There were two veterinarians and one of them was especially knowledgeable. The whole place is very upscale. It's in a brand new building. We were happy with the treatment that our kitten received.

The whole staff is great with animals. I am very impressed because they know so much and are so professional. The price is comparable to other places. They have a wonderful doctor and they are all so compassionate and personal.
