The quote and scheduling process was easy and efficient.

They needed to setup a scaffold to take down existing fixture which would have been no problem if very heavy platform had not been dropped and cracked our ceramic tile in middle of foyer. JCT was very apologetic and did not charge for work done.

When hanging the fixture the electrician took the time to make sure all of the arms were evenly spaced and even went back up on scaffold when we pointed out the fact that the ceiling plate was hanging off at an angle. He made several attempts to remedy the problem and did manage to get it sit against the ceiling.

The tile was replaced by a professional tile company and you cannot even tell.

We would definitely recommend JCT.

Went great.  Mike and Kevin came early, and went right to it.  They got the ladder setup to the roof.  Mike went onto the roof, Kevin went into the attic.  They were done quickly and efficiently.  Mike even sealed our vent pipe.  I was so impressed I asked them to call us back about installing an automatic transfer switch for our portable generator.  I would definitely recommend them.  Their price, fully quoted on their website, no estimate needed, was less than half of 3 other contractors.

They arrived exactly as scheduled.  There were two contractors, and they each started in a different room, so although there were several fixtures to be installed, the job did not take a long time.  They consulted with me to make sure the fixtures were being installed at the height I preferred.

It looks great. The sunroom is all glass and required surface mount wiring. The track matches the color of the room. In fact, they had a can of spray paint to make sure all surface mounted elements were completely painted white. I would use them again without a doubt.
As a side note, I would like to state the electrician assigned to my home was Vince. He treated me and my home with tremendous respect. He was a real gentleman.

Fred and his crew were extremely professional and did an excellent job with our project. I've hired a number of electricians over the years but Fred was one of the most pleasant and knowledgable that I have ever used. His experience level, coupled with excellent customer service really made the entire job a success. I would highly recommend JCT electrical for any job and plan on using them again to install a generator next year.

Work was completed on schedule, and in a timely manner. Workers explained operation and settings to wife, no issues.

I had JCT Electric install a Generac whole house Natural Gas back up generator. They did everything, pulled the permits, plumbing, electric, fire and building. Came when they said they would. Told me it would take 2 days. They worked in horrible rainy weather but they installed the unit and got it up and running as promised on time. Passed all Permits first time. My Gas Meter needed Upgrading because the Generator on Full load uses a more Gas Than my Gas Meter was set up for. They arranged all that too.  

Had a minor mis-communication problem with Fred the Owner but that was amicably resolved. Their Price was also Good. HIGHLY Recommended.

Stay away from JCT.  They will simply waste your time.

They were on time, very professional. The office staff was very good. We are going to have them come back to put in a solar clock.

This morning I went to wake up my daughter and when I flipped the light switch, nothing happened.  The light didn't come on.  I noticed that her clock/radio was dead, too.  The rest of the house had power.  I tried flipping the breaker switches out in the garage on and off and that didn't fix it.  I found JCT thanks to google and gave them a  call.  The receptionist was friendly and let me know  about the cost just to look at the problem.  I also let her know that we needed them to look at our whole house fan while they would be out for the electrical issue (the fan was supposedly repaired by a different firm a while back but still isn't working properly).  

Fred was here about an hour after I called.  He was able to quickly figure out the problem in my daugher's room stemmed from a loose outlet in her sister's room and  tightened that up.  He was also able to let me know why the fan isn't working (it's missing a pulley)  and that it's not easily repairable.  He was polite, prompt,  and courteous.  The total for today's bill was very reasonable and I'm planning on calling JCT when we're ready to get the whole house fan replaced.  I would recommend them to anyone that needs something electrical fixed.

There was some confusion on the receptionist's part at JCT.  When she called me to provide me with the quote for the driveway, I told her that we were not going to have them do it, however asked if they could put in the weather-proof junction box for us.  She said no problem, that it's a quick job and would be less than $100.  She said she's going to try to fit me in that week and will call back to let me know when.  She called me 2 days later and set up an appointment for the following Friday.  I immediately thought that's a long wait for such a short job, but didn't say anything because if that's the earliest they could fit me in, that's the earliest they could fit me in. 

When the electrician came out, he said, "We're here to do the driveway."  Of course, I said, "No.  Just the fireplace.  Come on in and I'll show you where."  He seemed very confused and asked again about the driveway.  I was confused and just said that he was doing the fireplace.  He walked out to his van to get tools, or so I thought, and the next thing I know, I received a call from the receptionist.  She said, "Amy.  We scheduled for your driveway today."  I said, "No.  It was just supposed to be the junction box for the fireplace."  She immediately started yelling at me.  During her rant, she said that she scheduled a full day's work for this electrician, but now it's nothing.  She accused me of doing work on my driveway without permits and that she would call the township and tell them. I tried to interrupt her to explain to her that this was a misunderstanding.  I believe that when she called me back 2 days later to schedule my appointment, she forgot that I told her that I did not want them to do our driveway.  She would not listen to one word. And then HUNG UP ON ME.  I ran out to see if the electrician was still there, but he had already left.  I called her back and tried to explain where I think the misunderstanding occurred and she HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN.  I couldn't believe how I was treated for such a simple misunderstanding.  Interrupted, screamed at, threatened and finally hung up on.  Later on that day when I went to my mailbox, there was a bill from them taped to my mailbox for a cancellation fee of $256.  H*** will freeze over before I pay a cent of that cancellation fee. 

Fred was on time. He removed all of the old lights. It started to rain, but Fred stayed with it, finished the job and did a few extra things. Like place screws in panel box and filed empty slot, so the switch's were loose. Came under the estimate. Wow!
