ARC Electric

Bob came and fixed an outlet that was replaced by a previous electrical contractor. The previous electrician tried to 'fake' the repair he did for a 2 prong outlet to a 3 prong outlet. Bob identified the problem and repaired it correctly. The company scheduled the service the day after I called, which was crucial since this issue would have impacted the house closing.

All went as planned.  Cleanup was an issue as the assistant electrician did not clean up well.

Andrew and his ARC Electric team were fast, professional and friendly. I would recommend them to anybody and intend to hire them again in the future.

I called ARC Electric based upon some suggestions I saw on Facebook and on their reviews on Angie's List.
The initial call was very pleasant and they booked an appointment for an estimate the next morning.
Though Andrew had to move the appointment a bit later due to delay from an earlier job, he called us from his cellphone to let us know AND the office called a short time later to confirm that he was still coming and to be sure the later time was OK.
The estimate process went very well...  Andrew asked thoughtful questions about what we needed and provided a written estimate for the work.  He then mentioned that if we did want to move forward, he could begin the work that day and likely complete it on the following day.  We called back to commit to the work, and Andrew said he would go to his supplier for the materials and would come to start work that afternoon.
Andrew showed up on time and had a colleague with him.  He said this would allow them to complete ALL of the work on that day...which they did.
Their work was efficient and neat.  Andrew called me over to show me the work and ask me questions a few times through the process.  He explained how he cleaned up some bad wiring left by an earlier contractor and how we could upgrade/expand our service in the future because of the way he implemented the solution.
All the work was done in a few hours and they left the space neater than it was before.
All-in-all, Andrew and all of the other ARC Electric employees I had contact with were a pleasure to speak and deal with...  I would not hesitate to use them again and would enthusiastically recommend them to friends and neighbors!

Arc repaired several broken outlets, ran a new line, fixed the wiring to a light fixture in the basement. No issues with the service, they were on time and the work was done as requested. I would use these guys again.

Andrew came by to give me a quote and the price was more than fair.  The day before the work was to be done Andrew confirmed via e-mail and told me that Bob would be doing the work.  Bob showed up on time, put down drop clothes, listened to my concerns about the installation and took the time to answer my questions before he started the work.  While he was doing the installation I had some additional questions which he was more than happy to answer.  When Bob was done he walked me through how to use the interlock kit and even suggested where I could get a twist lock cable to hook up the generator.  Bob cleaned up and the place was spotless, even came in a second time to make sure he didn't miss anything.  Would absolutely use them again.

Excellent. All the jobs were done on the same day. Andrew came in a Saturday morning which worked very well with our schedules.

His service was prompt and done well.  I was surprised that the price
for a ceiling fixture replacement was so high, inasmuch as the wiring
was already in place for him.

Aside from the above surprises ...GREAT

I called for an estimate on Saturday afternoon, the owner came out Sunday afternoon and the work was started and completed by Monday afternoon.
I an very satisfied with the quality of the work and with the quick response and completion of the work.

They were very prompt and efficient.  I was very pleased and would continue to use them in the future for all of my electrical needs. 

Andrew installed lighting for my art studio. He has also repaired things for me in the past. He is very knowledgable and efficient. He is very well mannered. He is definitely top notch! It's a pleasure to have someone come to your home that you're comfortable having. I have recommended him to many friends and will continue to do so in the future.

Job was quoted after Andrew Depuis visited my residence on a Saturday.  He informed me of the items I would need to replace the damaged post lamp.  I got a new top for the post and bought a fixture for the front porch to match.  He had one of his crew come the next Saturday to install.  The job was done perfectly.  New lights work just right.  On at dusk and off at dawn.

Post Hurricane Sandy I have been working to correct a lot of what was done to get through that experience.  Last on the list was to undo the "jerry rigging" I used to get generator power to my gas furnace during the two weeks we had no mains power.  I needed a professional to ensure I correctly hooked the furnace back up to the mains service board.
I called Andy in the morning and he popped by that afternoon.  It was a simple task in the end.  Andy was very courteous and gave numerous useful pointers whilst working on my furnace and replaced a breaker that had the wrong ampage.  Andy was kind enough to reduce his minimum call-out fee for the job.  ARC electric will continue to be my electricians of choice from this day forward, and I will likely need them back soon.
