The Heating Specialties Service Technician performed a thorough inspection of the AC unit and the condenser situated outside the home. When the latter was checked, his instrument displayed a low level of Freon which he immediately restored to the proper level.
The Technician was a very knowledgeable, professional, skilled craftsman. He dismantled critical components of the AC unit and inspected the evaporator panel. He turned the unit on and let it run for an extended period of time to test its functioning. Also, he checked the thermostat to ensure proper communication with the AC unit and accuracy of temperature readings. The technician addressed all of the customer's questions and concerns, and he provided comprehensive explanations of the steps he was taking to service the unit.
The Heating Specialties Technician showed respect for the customer's home by wearing shoe covers during the service call in order to protect flooring in the home.
The cost for the AC Tune-up was $159, however, the additional Freon installation added $190 to the usual and customary service price. Customer feels the total cost was reasonable given the quality of service provided by the Service Technician..
