What I consider a complicated move couldn’t have gone better. Very professional and stress free starting with Ellen in the office and Sammy who performed the site survey and ending with Carlos and the team. Add the straight forward way Mike priced the job and answered my questions there’s no doubt, they will be my 1st call whenever my family needs a mover again.

The experience of hiring these movers will forever haunt me-might sound dramatic, but so was the whole ordeal. I have always moved by myself but I have a 3 year old and decided to splurge. The quote was within my price range and the salesman Pat assured me multiple times "your quote is good, you don't pay for travel, the movers will assemble your furniture." Sounds great, right? I am such a do-it-yourselfer that I even moved 3 full carloads of the inventory by myself in the week before moving day. Make it simple for everyone, I thought. Well, they showed up late, refused to make eye contact despite my effort to be friendly and helpful, left half a shed full of stuff behind without telling us because they came with too small a truck. When we arrived at our destination, they demanded I pay before unloading, and suddenly the total was $400 over the quote. No one could tell me why. I called Pat and he said the movers said there was "additional inventory" but no one could tell me what. Then, they said travel time, which Pat explicitly told me I didn't have to pay for-otherwise I would have hired more locally. Then, he put me on the phone with an attack dog of a man named Chris who rudely told me things happen and basically I just had to deal with it. I paid out of desperation to get my belongings unloaded. What a chaotic mess. Every single box was clearly labeled but our stuff was strewn haphazardly in the wrong places. Our coffee table was broken then stuffed in the basement behind other boxes so we wouldn't notice. They left almost 3 hours early, did not assemble a single thing and yet I paid almost 50% more. What a scam. At that point I just wanted them out, I felt totally uncomfortable having my son around these people. PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID. I am NO prima donna and I know things happen, but this was a true scam. It makes me feel dirty just thinking that these people took advantage of me like that. Also, as instructed, I put a claim in for my broken table and have received no response. I probably never will. If you have things you care about or kids in your home please do not even for a second think this catastrophic mess of a company will help you. Worst money I ever spent, by far. Do not fall for their conniving schtick because you will regret it, just like I do.

First Class Movers were fantastic, from Ellen in the office to Carlos and the crew! Our move was stress free thanks to the professionalism of this team. We were so pleased with how the move went, we hired them the following week to do a final clean out of our offices. Again - they did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend hiring First Class Movers.

First Class Movers was just that--first class. Mike met with us personally in NJ to assess the cost of packing and moving us within a short time frame. He also did the research on the OH end of the move to ensure we had a team that would handle things without complaint on what ended up being the coldest day of the year. His attention to detail ensured that our shared driveway was not damaged and that packing, load, move, and unload dates fit with our tight schedule. Their price was fair & the personal attention stood apart from many other businesses we've dealt with over the past few years across three moves.

The movers were great and everything went smoothly, nothing was broken along the way. It was probably 100 degrees and humid that day, so we really felt awful for the guys but they pushed through and even made jokes along the way. They moved super fast and finished up a little earlier than we expected (we had to move a condo and an apartment into a house), which was nice because they showed up an hour and a half late (the only negative). Great guys though, would definitely hire them again.

It was fine the we weren’t exactly finished because there were other rooms to clear out. In the end they were helpful in the new location showing what fit and did not.

The quote process was outstanding. Spent a lot of time with us to make sure everything was included. When it came time to moving, the employees were professional and did a great job.

Great! These movers are efficient, very organized, careful, clean, courteous, and punctual. They go over all the details with you in your home of your items to move and answer follow up questions. James was terrific at helping us plan! This company made moving a positive experience and I will certainly use them again in the future! Highly recommend!

We used First Class Movers while we were having our floors re-finished. They moved our furniture out of the house and into our garage, then back in when the work was done. If I could give them an A+ I would. From my first contact with the team to the last, they demonstrated high levels of professionalism. The team was easy to reach, even after hours or via text. They explained the process and gave me great advice and provided competitive pricing. As often happens with renovations, my project was delayed and I needed to change my move in date twice. There was no complaint and they did everything in their power to ensure they could meet my needs. The team that did the actual move were polite, friendly and extremely hard working. They took great care not to damage my newly finished floors or any of my furniture. I was thoroughly impressed at how quickly they were able to move my furniture and their efficiency in packing it. Everything was wrapped to prevent damage and they even marked the location of the rooms so they would know where to put it back. I would highly recommend First Class Movers and would use them again without hesitation.

4 movers showed up on time and got to work moving a full height 800+ safe. They knew exactly what to do to get the safe up the basement stairs without damage. Would hire again for future needs.

I used First Class Movers previously which prompted me to use them again. Although I did get other quotes for this current move, First Class was competitively priced and completely dependable. They're everything a client is looking for in a moving company: responsive, honest, dependable and charge EXACTLY per their quote. Their employees are careful and really work with the customer to be sure they're satisfied. I can't say enough about this company. They're aces.

The crew was on time and did an excellent job moving everything as well as breaking down and reassembling beds and furniture very quickly at the new address. They completed the entire job 2 hours under the estimate which resulted in a total savings of $500 below the original proposal. The crew we had was very professional and courteous throughout the day. We will hire First Class Movers again when we need to move back into the house once the renovation has been completed.

Excellent service in every aspect. Fair price but the care for our belongings was outstanding.

When we called for an estimate, Curtis came out and took the time to walk through our apartment and gave us a fair estimate of the cost. He also provided us with PAGES OF PREVIOUS CLIENTS that were satisfied with their service. We did a lot of the packing ourselves, so basically we needed the larger furniture moved as well as some boxes. They were more than happy to take more, but we had been moving a lot of our personal belongings a head of time. We had actually called another company, they never came out, gave an estimate (over the phone) that was almost a $900 more AND THEN sent us a "nasty" e-mail regarding First Class Movers about how we should "do our homework" and "they do not have a great reputation", "are very shady", and "watch yourself with them... you get what you pay for." I have to say, the "senior relocation consultant" from this other company was COMPLETELY WRONG!!!! Victor and his crew arrived on time, they were pleasant and worked very hard. Of course it was the hottest day of the summer so far (so we made sure they had water and snacks), but they got the job done! I was very impressed with their service and dedication to performing their job! The move went remarkably smooth with no damage to any of our belongings. When we arrived at our new place, the 4 guys brought everything in, took direction remarkably well, unpacked and put the sofa and chairs back together. I couldn't believe how amazing these guys were. If we ever move again, these guys would be my first AND ONLY pick!

Daniel and drew were extremely cooperative and efficient, even when it meant carrying furniture up (and down) 2 flights of stairs. Job very well done !!!

Mike and his team from First Class Movers are lifesavers. We had a terrible move experience from Brooklyn to Maplewood, NJ. The original movers tried and failed to move our bedframe up to our bedroom, claiming it was impossible. First Movers quickly and successfully moved it into our bedroom and assembled. I can't tell you the difference in professionalism compared to our original (and well-known) moving company. If I had only known about this company before our move, our experience would have been phenomenal. Please patronize them.

Excellent; the individual, Curtis, who provided the initial quote was professional and his quote was actually higher than our actual cost. We had confirmation calls from the office staff the week leading up to the moves, and men who assisted with our move were friendly, efficient, and courteous throughout their work. I would recommend this company.
