Loved the fact that Dominick was there working with his crew. They did a fantastic job. They were neat and efficient. The finished work looks amazing. Will definitely have Dominick's Custom Masonry comeback for more work around my home and highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality work done at a reasonable cost.

The project went great . Dominic explained different options to us and then he did exactly what he said he would do and on time.

It went perfectly fine. Everything was done professionally and everything was done exactly as planned and according to contract. The time frame was exact, and the work was done to my expectations. The completed job was beautiful. Dominick even helped me pick out the stone according to my budget.

They arrived early, perform the construction as described in the contact and clean up the site after the work was done. All within the time promised and within the price quote.

I had several estimates from other local Essex / Morris masons. Dominic was the most upfront with what to expect regarding what needed to be done and timing. The final product on all jobs mentioned were great, I couldn't of expected more from a contractor. His guys do great work and he clean up with spotless.

Always on time, always called back. Kept his word, did exactly everything he said he was going to do. The prices were reasonable. And he is very fair with customers. Very nice and polite. He's very knowledgeable. ...He always did what he said, very dependable. I'm getting more projects to use him again. He was a very professional contractor.

It went bad fast. We met with a few mason's and originally felt good with the decision.  Here are a few of the "minor" issues we faced: first, after deciding to use them, they wouldn't accept a $500 coupon as they said they had "already accounted for a discount in the price" - even though we hadn't mentioned it previously.  Next, when they installed a limestone tread, it cracked - and they still installed it.  My wife and I had to ask them to replace it after we realized they moved to another step and were not going to fix it. On another step, they didn't notch the tread enough and forced it in so the railing was now pushed outward to about 110 degrees.  They claimed it always looked like that until I showed them pictures and put a level up against it.  Fourth, the paver walkway was not well secured and shifted within a year.  Fifth, they concrete patio they poured had two puddle areas immediately after pouring.
The big issue though was when we tried to talk to them about fixing the bigger puddle area before the final $1,000 payment.  Father and son showed up to "look at the issue" and argued it out - after they threatened to rip up everything already done and implied that we may not even know they ripped it up, we paid the balance out of fear to get them off the property.

We had to encourage them to finish the added extras that were promised as well as the cleanup.

Machinery tore up the driveway. He explained to me that he had extra stone and said that he would complete the driveway $1000.00 deposit and then $3000.00 after completion of the driveway. I agreed to complete the driveway and gave him $1000.00. He never came back to complete the project or never called. Took Dominick's to court and he ended up owing me the $1000.00 back for the service he never did.

THE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY WAS A GOOD ONE. THEY HAD GIVEN US AN ESTIMATE AND THEY STUCK TO THE ESTIMATE. THEY CAME TO US RECOMMENDED BY A NEIGHBOR AND WE WOULD RECOMMEND THEM ALSO.
