Roofing work was exceptional. Done in the time frame specified. Very clean work area when done. The copper work was also done very well. The gutter work was a totally other issue. They look great but were installed improperly. Instead of being inserted behind the new metal drip edge, they simply screwed the gutter hangers over the drip edge. Instead of water hitting the fascia and running down into the gutter, it now runs down behind the gutter. Bay roofing had the audacity to tell me that "you could install it that way". I guess you could install shingles upside down, but neither is the correct installation. It should be noted that I have a year of architectural drafting education, built my own home to include installing the roofing and gutters and sent Bay roofing a picture that I obtained by a Google search for the correct installation of gutters. The gutter installers showed up at my home about a week after contacting Bay Roofing, unannounced. My wife who happened to be working from home that day told them they needed to come back on Friday when I would be home. We have never heard from them or Bay Roofing again.

The end result was a great new roof, with ridge-vents. Steve, Patty and the team was very courteous and understanding, they all really advised us in the most professional manner.

We repaired the rotted wood and flashing around the chimney. They were recommended by my chimney guy. They are a little pricey, but I didn't want to do anything on the cheap. It took about 5 hours and just watching the skill, they cut everything on the ground. They did good work.

They were good. Just the level of work that was done.

The job was done exactly when and how it was discussed. The company is exceptional and extremely professional.

They are excellent. They were just fantastic. They were in and out and clean as a whistle. You cannot find a nail outside that house. The workers were all very good and courteous.

Bay roofing replaced the roof on my house and garage and put new gutters on and it took them 2 days. They arrived as schedule and at the end of the day there cleanup was such that I didn't even know there were workmen on my property . Steve the owner is great, professional came out the same day I called to look over and I had my quote the next day. Prices are very competitive with other roofers quality of their work is far superior. All the employees work for Bay roofing they are not day workers. I would highly recommend them!

Seeing my earlier negative review, I was contacted by the owner of Bay Roofing in a very nice way. They offered after all this time to rectify the situation. They made the changes, and even did additional work. I am very satisfied with how they back their work, and would recommend them.

bay roofing has done extensive work for us and yes we paid $$$ but you get what you pay for - if you want it to last call them - if you want a temporary fix you can get it done for much less (we used to do this but learned our lesson the hard way!)

After our most recent storm I noticed a water mark on the outside wall of one of the bedrooms. I found that the attic window was broken and the water seeped in and went down the wall. My access to the attic is a crawl space and I was unable to get to the window. I called Dan and Steve from Bay Roofing and true to their wonderful business ethics reassured me that they would take care of the problem. Needless to say they did and I again feel very fortunate to have found Bay Roofing. For the first time in my life I have a contractor that I am proud to recommend to family and friends. Thank you again Steve and Dan. Here is another A+ for being there for me and a job well done.

From start to finish, Bay Roofing was a pleasure to deal with. Steve came out to give me the estimate during our home inspection period and was very friendly and knowledgeable and even walked through and around our house with us to give us some pointers. With winter rapidly approaching we wanted to address the problem shortly after we closed on the house. We were able to get on the schedule easily even though the company was busy right after the new year and we were easily and flexibly able to reschedule for a few days later when it snowed on the day the work was supposed to get done. The installer completed the work in a matter of hours and it looks wonderful and is working great. Dan came out to inspect the job before we paid and was also very friendly and knowledgeable. We are planning to work with them again to repair some flashing on our chimney in the spring. The quality and service are outstanding. In addition, the women in the office are friendly and communicative by email and phone.

They were prompt and professional. When we were not completely satisfisfied with the copper installation on the chimney they came back within a couple of days and redid it to our satisfaction. They were not happy until we were happy. They were a pleasure to deal with.|

They did all of the above except instead of doing 6' up cricket they did 9' and they primed the new cedar on the wall. I am very happy and completely satisfied with the the work.

They are very nice, came out and made suggestions about colors of shingles and gutters to match my house. People have said how nice it looked and I really love it! The roof was completed in one day, start to finish. They were neat and tidy throughout!

Did excellent job, nice cleanup, and I was very happy with the results. Would recommend them to anyone that wants a quality job from a professional company. Competitive pricing also. Survived Sandy with not one shingle out of place!!! Have no complaints what so ever. .

We needed to get a new roof due to damage from Sandy. We thought it would take a long time before we could get an appointment, but it was done very quickly. The job itself was completed in one day (actually one morning!) - that was taking off the old roof, repairing damaged areas and putting down a new roof. We are very happy with this company and would certainly use them again for any roofing needs. They are very professional and are willing to answer any questions that you have about the job.

The were very good. They did a great job. I would highly recommend them. I will use them again in the future. If there was a problem they would come and fix it.

Bay Roofing was particularly helpful and successful in negotiating with the insurance company claims adjustor and persuading him to cover more of the costs of repair. They also were assiduous in cleaning up after their work and in making repeat visits to ensure it was completed to our satisfaction.
