T & M Builders LLC

We hired T&M Builders LLC (Mark Guerrieri) for a new construction house to do our driveway pavers, Belgium blocks, and walkway from the driveway to the front of the house. My husband and I made sure and choose colors and patterns from (Brane supply) for the projects as we wanted to get this job done quickly so we can move into the house during summer. We were crystal clear with Mark Guerrieri from day one with the time frame and wanting to move into my house because our current lease was going to exp. in July 2023. I was told by Mark Guerrieri on the day of the agreement back in May 2023 that it will only take two-three weeks to fully complete the whole project I will order everything once I get four checks of $5000.00 under my personal name then in week delivery will be made to my house in Montville and meanwhile going to prepare while we wait for delivery all this was told by Mark Guerrieri and he was so rushing us to give him the project. My husband asked if he had any other jobs because that would interfere with work at my house and then all the excuses will come out of contractors we know that please be honest if that's the case we'll look for someone else for our project. Mark Guerrieri first before taking money will always answer our calls and text messages and call us even on weekends. Once the money was in his account things changed really quickly I gave depoist on May 15th, 2023 then going forward he stopped answering calls, and texts for more than three weeks meanwhile nothing was delivered at my house nor they ever came to prep like Mark Guerrieri told us. This contractor is very very unprofessional and really rude. After trying for more than three weeks to get hold of Mark Guerrieri my husband's friend saw his car and him at another house working meantime he wasn't even answering our calls at this time. My husband's friend pulled over and asked him why aren't you answering calls and texts, he said I do call them but the material is a backed order because the company still has to make it in production for pavers and Belgium blocks so it will take more than three weeks to get the material until than we can't do anything with his project. This information was never shared or provided to us before taking money or placing an order. I asked Mark Guerrieri for proof of invoice that the order was placed and it's in back order which he couldn't provide because there wasn't an order placed for my material. At this point, it was the end of June I was really frustrated because everything that came out of his mouth was lies and more lies. I respectfully asked for a refund and requested him not to come to my house ever again. I haven't heard back from the contractor nor refund came thru.

This is my second time using T&M. Mark did my driveway expansion and paving 10+ years ago. It still in great shape today. This time I needed a new roof and sidewalk fix along with a little front of the house masonry landscapin. Mark wasn't the cheapest out of the 8 or so estimates but gave me a reasonable price. Start it on schedule. Roof was done in about day and a half. Very professional crew. Covered the house good. Picku all debris baring a few peases on the bushes. We had a tree removed in front. Mark took out all roots, and did the masonry as per my instructions to rearrange a walkways for better layout. My house looks 100% better with new walk way configuration. And once I am done with all the planting it will be even better. Would Highly recomend Mark comlany and use them again when needed.

When I first met Mark at the end of March he told my husband and I how he is always on the job supervising his men and told us that the bathroom renovation and putting down the tile floor in the basement would take a week and half. We explained to him we needed everything done before the end of April because we were leaving on vacation and he said don’t worry it will be done before that. It took him about a week to start after receiving the first payment and signing the contract. The first 2 days his guys showed up with him and worked. After that his guys would show up and work for like 4 hours and then leave which delayed the the completion of the renovation. There were days that they would not show up. A project that was supposed to take a week and half took more than a month to be finalized. Because they would only work a few hours here and there they didn’t “finish” until we were on vacation. When we got back home, my husband and I were disgusted with the work they did. They didn’t fix the light fixture, didn’t caulk around the window or toilet, didn’t paint and did a super sloppy job on grouting the tile. Mark hadn’t been to the house to see if the work his men did was completed correctly. It was only after I got back at home from vacation and complained that he stopped by. This was the worst experience ever.

The contractor took several months to finish the job and never called to schedule work. Contract signed 4/7; driveway torn up 4/7; belgian block placed 5/17; asphalt placed 6/8. We reported that the driveway was puddling significantly during rain and have not had any satisfaction. Contractor drilled holes in asphalt to fix the problem but the problem remains. Driveway floods in rain. We have called and left several messages.

We tried to connect with him after two weeks to check in but got no response. Several weeks later, he came back to put down the asphalt. The day he poured the asphalt in June 2016, it rained, revealing puddling. At that time, he told us that the puddling was because of a "banana" dip in our driveway. He told us not to worry about it, but we were not happy with this puddling. As a second solution, he drilled holes in the driveway without telling us. They have not resolved the puddling. He stopped answering our calls. We filed a claim in court and he did not respond, so we have "won." Next step, to get the money back. There is another house on our street that has a driveway in the rocks/stone phase since November. It is now March. I would never use this contractor again.

They did not clean the debris off of our rood before they put the new roof coating on. As aresult we have major leaks. They gave us a 10 year warrenty on the roof but we cannot locate Mark Guerrieri, the owner, to return our calls. We will have to sue to get our monay back. Avoid this contractor. His reference are also bogus. He ripped us off for over a hundred grand. Buyer beware

When they came the job was fine Learned later it was a bit pricey. Phone calls not returned Dates not confirmed.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE VERY GOOD. THEY DID WHAT I WANTED DONE AND DID NOT TRY TO DO ANYTHING I DID NOT WANT DONE. THEIR QUALITY OF WORK WAS VERY GOOD. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
