***DO NOT USE REINER*** I recently hired Reiner to replace and install a central air and furnace system in an older home. We got quotes from 4 different companies but decided Reiner was worth the extra money (40% more than competitors) based off the size of the company, expertise and an experienced metal shop/customizations for an older home. We were sold that the decades of experience was going to solve our air flow issues. What we got was anything but spectacular. The install took 2 days and was completed incorrectly! The installers didn't even look at the drawn up plans. So they had to completely rip out the newly installed system and reinstall being guided by a supervisor. Our a/c died in July and it took 5 weeks from signing for them to finish. I don't know if there has been a change in the company but the service we received does not match their reputation. The lack of communication between the sales, installation and service is astounding. How this company has survived so long is beyond me. Save yourself the hassle and go with someone else!

Units were tested for operating efficiency. Equipment maintenance was performed.

I contacted several HVAC contractor to give me estimates on Carrier, Amana, and Lennox. The work was to replace my old noisy 1999 York Diamond 80 furnace and some extremely loud York air condenser outside. I have 2 zones, 1 on main floor, and 1 on second floor, with a single furnace 2-damper control. The old system was noisy, and I always did not get enough cooling/heating on second floor. Out of all contractors who came to my home, only Reiner's engineer (Chris) pointed out to me that I need to open another return to help the situation. He also took time to do the proper measurement and calculate the right capacity I need for the furnace and air. Reiner cost out a Lennox system for us. Because of discount and rebate, it ended up costing about the same as another contractor who quoted me for Amana with similar configuration without the additional work on opening up another return. The engineer team who came the installation was also very professional and clean, and did a beautiful replacement to my old system. If you are looking for quality work, I recommend that you should discuss with Reiner first before you work with other contractors.

Great! Roy was a breeze to communicate with, was very informative when he came out to our home and explained every step of the process. We had other people look at what we wanted and were rude/suggested crazy things but Roy made sure that we got exactly what we needed and didn't try to "sell" us on something we didn't need.

Addressed all issues to my satisfaction

Problem was resolved after 2 technician visits. In the first visit the tech failed to diagnose a faulty starter. They did not charge for that visit .

I had called another company to get my furnace ready to go and they said I was out of luck that I needed a new boiler. It turned out I had to put in a commercial style boiler, and that company could not do it. Reiner was top notch. The price was good, the service was good, they were punctual and professional and they did everything. They still provide my service. They did what they were going to do when they said it. Obviously I am happy with them because they still provide my annual service.

They were very professional and pleasant to work with, and did excellent work--confirmed by my local building inspector. Some unusual pieces of flue piping (direct vent) had to be back ordered and that took a couple of weeks, but they worked with me until everything worked perfectly. I especially appreciated how I only had one person with whom to communicate. They got the permits and arranged for the tank removal, making everything simple for me.

Just had top of the line Lennox equipment installed. I went with Reiner as I heard good things about them and so far (install/setup) it seems to be real. Being an engineer, I sweat the details and Reiner has been delivering even up to my expectations. Chris knows his stuff and Tim did a good job with the installation. I had a pretty old system with rusted out ducts, and we had some gremlins along the way that extended the install timeline, but nothing that could not be corrected and Reiner always took the high road and handled whatever was needed.



I was unsure about the Lennox 'Ultimate Comfort System' due to the cost, but it seems to live up to all the hype and claims. And with the higher NJ and Lennox rebates and long term energy savings, the cost differential is not as high as it seems up front. Only time will tell how long the high-end (read: highly complicated) system will last, but I'm hoping that by the time the 10 year warranty expires I have saved enough to recover my total investment. Welcome to US Capitalism - nothing is made to last like it used to. Overall, I think Reiner is a good, solid company and I will sleep well at night.

Reiner and the group that came to do the work could NOT have been more professional. They did their job exactly in the time that they told me that they would. They cleaned up every evening. They solved a problem with the breaker and they sat there until the part was delivered and assured me that the matter would be resolved...and it was. I am absolutely thrilled with Reiner and the work that they did. As for the price, I got another quote for the job and Reiner was $2000 less expensive.

I would like to praise the entire staff of the Reiner Group enough for the speed and professionalism with which they came to my aid and installed a top quality air conditioning and purification system. Another company, which had originally installed my air conditioner and air purifier, and had been servicing and updating the systems for nearly 40 years (most recently replacing it in 1995), left me stranded on April 24, 2014, without any explanation. The service man was supposed to get a part for the air handler and install it by April 28th. He never came back, and my calls to the company's office and cell phones from that date to June 3rd, were never returned. This was very stressful due to the warming weather, my long-standing severe allergies, and an impending heart procedure in a hospital. | |Finally, on June 3rd, I stopped into Reiner and explained my situation to Lisa, who set up service calls. She managed to squeeze me in on June 11th, even though they were scheduling regular calls for mid-July. The service man, Jesus, was on time and courteous, and said that the air handler components had been left lying apart up in the attic. I was called the next day and told that the part was no longer being made by Lennox, and a technical engineer would come to discuss the situation with me. Roy Hulsebos came that afternoon, and went through the situation with me. I opted to replace the system, and Roy went to work trying to get the new one installed as soon as possible. My heart procedure was originally scheduled for June 17th and the system was to be installed the week after that. When the heart procedure was postponed until June 25th, Roy kept trying to speed up the installation and, thanks to some fortuitous cancellations, was able to schedule it for June 19th and 20th. | |The work was done quickly and efficiently by an excellent team (Dave Henion and Anthony Pirone), and I had a brand new system by June 20th. Roy Hulsebos was extremely helpful and friendly, checking on the progress every day, seeing to it that I got all available rebates, and keeping me informed about every aspect of the installation. Reiner handled the paper work. | |By the time I went into the hospital for my heart procedure, I had had several days of air-conditioned comfort, which put me in better shape to undergo the procedure and recuperate.

Very little consistency from one day to the next as far as workers on the job. Made some mistakes that could have been prevented if the same person stayed on the job until completion.
