Job went very well on all points. The owner, Tim, returned calls and kept his appointments. Kept me informed and the job was meticulous. It was also refreshing that the owner was actually the person who did the job! Would absolutely hire again- highly recommended.

Totally satisfied! You will meet the most honest contractor you can find. The price is better than reasonable, the workmanship is excellent, and we are so glad we hired Leak Master Roofing. For any future roofing work needed on our house, we will use this same contractor. We were so happy with work that I even offered to pay more money but Tim declined.

I interviewed 3 roofers, and his solution was the correct one, because I had done research, and his price was neither high nor low, so he was reasonable in all aspects. They showed up, did the job, and I was perfectly satisfied. The interactions with them were very good, and the work turned out fine.

I like him very much. He was very honest. I thought he was a safe bet. He was very fair in his prices and his estimate of the work.

Must have got him on a bad day. I am sure he can be charming but when Tim is on a tear, WOW! A REMARKABLY unpleasant interaction.

Another small repair, another chance to recommend Tim Brown, aka Leak Master Roofing. Called Tim because squirrels were getting into my attic. I would trap and remove them, only to find them replaced by new ones. Called Tim to plug the hole I figured was near the place where squirrels had visibly damaged a roof gutter.
But that wasn't where they were getting in: No hole. However, Tim knew immediately where to look - the ventilator on my roof for the central air conditioning. Sure enough, the squirrels had pushed an opening in the wire mesh meant to keep them from getting in through that opening. Turns out this roofer knew a LOT about this problem. Wire mesh replaced by better, stronger mesh that cannot be pushed, plus he added a layer of tar all around the base and top of the new mesh: and quot;Squirrels HATE tar,and quot; he said. and quot;they won't mess with it.and quot; Work was fast, punctual, and very reasonable. Have waited until now (12/4/13), and we are still blissfully squirrel-free.
If you have a problem and it involves your roof or anything around it, and you are anywhere near Fair Lawn, NJ, where he is located, CALL TIM BROWN. You'll be glad you did.

All in all, the experience went great. Im always leery of any type of construction companies, but Tim's service and professionalism was impressive. I'd recommend him to anybody.

Good project. It took quite a while from id to repair as he was backed up from the Hurricane in August. He provided a temporary sheet that stopped the leak. When he finally got here he worked professionally and neatly. You would not know we did work on the roof looking at the lawn. He added flashing at a different location on the roof which might have been causing a different leak. No charge. No more leak. Would use again.

I had a serious ceiling leak in my upper dormer roof. About 4 years ago I had another roofer(not Leakmaster Roofing) put on a new roof because of the leak. The ceiling started leaking again recently. I called the previous roofer and he told me it couldn't be the roof it had to be clogged gutters. I had the gutters cleaned and the ceiling still leaked. I knew I needed help fast and a roofer who would be very responsive to a ceiling leak. I checked Angie's list and called Tim Brown of Leakmaster Roofing since he had an A rating and other reviewer's indicated he would be responsive to a ceiling leak. I called Tim Brown on a Friday afternoon and left a voice mail message and within an hour he called me back. He came out early the next morning on Saturday to look at the roof. He said it was a flat roof and the previous roofer should not have put shingles on a flat roof. As a result he could not repair the roof and the dormer section of the roof would need to be re-roofed with proper materials for a flat roof. He suggested I go back to the previous roofer for the re-roofing. Since I had a serious leak and did not trust the previous roofer who was avoiding me I asked Tim Brown to give me an estimate to re-roof the dormer section flat roof portion of the house. His estimate was $1750. I asked him to do the job. He said he would do the job the very next week. Since he was busy the earliest he could come was Wednesday. On Tuesday afternoon he called and left a message he was coming to re-roof on Wednesday. He arrived early Wednesday morning with helpers and did the re-roofing. After he did the job he showed me the shingles he removed and explained to me that water was seeping way up under the shingles under all of the dormer roof. Since he re-roofed there have been a couple of rainstorms and no leak. I highly recommend Leakmaster Roofing. Tim Brown was very responsive, competent, professional, friendly and knowledgeable about roofing. It was a pleasure to deal with him and I would definitely use him again.

Overall, the job went very smoothly, which was expected because I've used Leak Master before. Competent, professional, fair, and friendly. Arrived on schedule. Completed the job in about 4 hours. Clean-up was thorough--not a nail, shingle, splinter left on the property.

Tim came promptly to make an estimate, suggested taking the tree down instead (which would have cost him the job, since he is a roofer not a tree service), and bid about 60% of what another roofer estimated. He did the work earlier than expected when his schedule changed because of weather conditions and he had a free day. He brought one assistant, did the job in one morning. During the work, he recommended a modification to what we had discussed that improved the result (no change in cost). It was a small job, but he willingly took it on (two other roofers turned it down), and performed it very professionally. Altogether an extremely satisfying experience. I'd gladly use him again.

I had at least 5 roofers come for estimates. They ranged from 400 to $1800, but none of them really wanted to do the job because its a bunch of odds and ends. I even agreed on a price with one, and they just never came back. When I spoke to the owner (Tim), he was in a middle of a big project, but he asked me if I my roof was ok with no leaks. This was a good sign because he seemed more concerned about my problem. He came several days later to check out the house, we agreed on a time and price and he came in as promised. He fixed all the problems plus the items he noted on the roof, which I was unaware of. Bottom line, he gave me a great price and good quality service.

Everything went really well. We thought we needed a new roof and he, unlike the other contractors, told me it could just be repaired. He was very honest and I would definitely use them in the future when I do need a new roof. The repair work they did was excellent.
