Pat and his company came back to our house to perform more work. We had such a professional job done the first time, were wondering if they would be consistent. Well, they did an OUTSTANDING job. We needed our bushes trimmed before the winter, and needed top soil and mulch to replace area where swing set was removed. Pat also cleared out more vegetation for our neighbor next door. The yard looked HUGE when they finished.
Also, our bushes look amazing. They almost look fake they are so perfectly trimmed. These guys really take their work seriously. Can't say enough about this company!
Also, I am in no way related, or friend's with these people! When I find an excellent company I want to tell people about them!

Overall the meetings went very well. We were referred to the design consultant who came out and met with me to discuss landscape and privacy ideas for our yard.
The contract for the design was sent and accepted after I reviewed it.
The installation will begin in November. I was very impressed with the professional quality of the customer service.

Our yard needed some side yard clearing, new mulch, and we wanted to add some new bushes. Also, our neighbor right next door had major vegetation growing over our fence, causing it to weaken. I told Pat (the owner) that the neighbor had some serious health issues going on and could not keep up with the property at the moment. I asked if he could clear that out on their property.
He said "no problem".
Well, first of all, I have to emphasize how incredibly consistent Pat was in responding to my emails. He got back to me each time within 24hrs. He also came with his crew when he said he would. My husband and I were so happy!
When they arrived, they got to work, and I saw them planting the bushes. Talk about mouth dropping!!! I do not know where Pat found this man, but his employee created (trimmed) the most gorgeous, elegant circular boxwoods !!!!! This man was Edward Scissorhands!!! We already had two hedges, and now wanted circular boxwoods in the very front. We were wondering how it would look. WOW!!!! It was STUNNING. This gentleman trimmed these bushes so incredibly, and also did a fantastic job on the hedges behind it. Our yard never looked so GOOD.
In addition, Pat's crew did the most thorough, professional, job clearing our side yard, and the neighbor's yard. They discovered there were some tricky roots to clear, but amazingly got it all out. In fact, I was not even planning on being able to plant anything, thinking it would be too bumpy. However, the guys did it so well, the yard is nice and flat!
Also, the price was EXTREMELY competitive. The most incredible thing was, when I told Pat that the neighbor was having serious health issues, he did NOT charge for their yard work. !!!!! We were so taken by Pat's hard work and compassion. We can't express enough how much we appreciate this man and his crew.

The experience with Nj Lawns and Gardens was very unsatisfactory. We were only their customers and they did not appear in the spring as they were supposed to and then we called them and they said they would come in 2 or 3 weeks and then they didn't, so we called them again and they didn't come. They don't even return phone calls. The guy bought the business from someone else late last summer and he is not up to the larger number of customers because we are not the only ones having the problem, there are others who around the same neighborhood have similar problems. We are all pretty disgusted.Their quality of work when they did it was excellent and they would come when they said they would.
