I had several years of personal and financial documents - 63 pounds worth, to be precise. Debbie answered when I called to see if Laird would shred it - she was extremely helpful, polite, and professional. Not only would they shred it (staples and all), but they would shred it immediately, on the spot, for $0.49 a pound. 
This price is half what the local UPS store is charging, plus the UPS store merely stores your documents in a secured bin, to be picked up by Iron Mountain whenever it's full - your personal information could be sitting in that bin for weeks. 
But not with Laird - as Debbie was ringing me up, I could hear them shredding my documents in the back. I'm really happy with Laird's service, price, and professionalism. I will definitely go back next time I need shredding (and this time I won't wait until I have 63 pounds worth).

I take my stuff that I need to shred to Laird Stationery and Printing Co. I can bring any amount. I can bring a smaller amount or a slightly larger amount but it's not for big commercial jobs, I don't think. It's for personal jobs if you don't want to shred it on your own personal shredder or if you don't have your own personal paper shredder. It's not for if you're in an office or medical office and you've got boxes and boxes of shredding to do. It's not that type of operation. If you bought a whole banker's box of stuff, that would be fine. I'm very glad they're there.
