Housecalls Mower Repair of Mercer County

My former lawn equipment service business closed. I found out about Housecalls thru Google searches. So happy I did. Everything about this business was top shelf. Jason (owner & technician) was responsive, pleasant and professional. He was on time with his service call (precisely on time!!!). He did all the repairs at my property in under an hour and his costs were materially less than what I paid my former business (where I also had to bring my equipment and be without it for a week or two). HIGHLY recommend Housecalls - they will be my lawn equipment service provider from this point forward.

They never responded to my service request

They responded quickly and came right to my home to repair my snowblower. The repair went smoothly and the price was great. Would definitely use their service again.

Jason is an affable gentleman who is obviously an expert on lawn and snow equipment. Very impressive guy. He provides a great and convenient service and at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend him.

Horrible. They never contacted me. When I tried to call them, no response. Angie's List refused to refund my money, even though I paid $75.00 and received NO services in return. Housecalls Mower Repair and Angie's List are both scams.

Got the mower running and tuned up in 15 minutes.

Jason showed up within an hour of the earliest expected time. He was able to stop the leak and we discovered there was a spring missing from the throttle (the original reason it wouldn't start) He was extremely professional and courteous. Would definitely recommend

They showed up on time, explained what they were doing and were very professional. Recommended that the snow blower be started every few months to keep it ready for winter. I would use them again

He did some additional work and charged for that. He did a pretty good job overall.

Gary lubricated, cleaned, adjusted and serviced my tractor for 2+ hours. Replaced oil, oil filter, gas filter and air filter; checked all adjustments and sharpened blades.  When Gary left, I though I had a new tractor.

Gary did a great job = lubricated everything (even places I did not know needed to be lubricated), adjusted everything and got my snow blower ready for winter.

Made 2 attempts to contact after pre-paying for service. No response after several weeks of waiting.

They never contacted me. In fact, i need a refund of my money.

I called Rusty, the owner, who was great. She explained to me that they charge $50 for the call and would not start any repairs until they told us what needed to be fixed and approximately how much to fix. There is a $99 minimum fee for any repairs completed (plus the $50). This all seems totally reasonable. However, the repairman completed the repairs without first providing an estimate. The bill was ~$280. I'm happy with the repairs, but not happy on the lack of communication. I called the next day, and I got Rusty again. She was great. She apologized, and actually offered us a free tune up in the Spring, which I'll definitely use. Despite the snafu in the communications, they seem like a really great, small company that does quality work and cares about its customers. I'll definitely use them for repairs in the future again.

Finally runs like new! Even the dealer tuneups were not as good. Tractor hasn't been running smooth for a long time. They were punctual and performed in a very professional manner. Tractor is great. Definitely recommend and will use them again in the spring.

He was punctual (in fact, he was early to the appointment), professional, and efficient in getting our mower going again. He also explained what was wrong with the mower and what to do to prevent the carburetor from being clogged up. And all this happened in my front yard, and I didn't have to load up the dirty mower in my car to get it serviced!
