Probably one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor. Responded almost immediately after my search on Angie's list. Was able to get the work done within my time frame (which was immediate) and quoted a great price. The contractor was extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous. A truly great experience and I will use them again!

I had the need for an emergency electrical repair because some of the outlets stopped working in my father’s home, and the heat wouldn't turn on. My father is 96 and I needed the heat on ASAP. I looked on Angie's List and found JLC Electric based in Englishtown, which is close to me. I was not aware of them previously but since they had good reviews and were local, I gave them a call. When they heard the heat was out, they sent someone to my house within 1/2 hour. They had the heat on in 15 minutes and showed me that the entire electrical panel was badly corroded due to water leakage, and it needed to be replaced. I had suspected this was a problem for some time, so I was not surprised when they came to that conclusion. They gave me what I thought was a very fair price and did the work immediately. I will definitely use JLC again if I have the need. I felt they did very good/clean work at a fair price. I am not affiliated with them in any way, I just think it's great when you can find a reputable and fair company to deal with today.

We are very happy and pleased with JLC! Mike the owner came the same day to give me an estimate n the price he gave is very reasonable. He is very professional, friendly n courteous and especially his duo team Carlos and Joe! What great guys n great work too!! It is a home owner's dream, knowing that your contractor is just a phone call away and that they call you right back. They are very prompt n very attentive to all your needs to make sure everything goes well and smoothly. I would highly recommend them and I definitely would hire them again!!

The guys came in the morning as they had promised. They were extremely professional, efficient and really did a great job in doing the work. The chandelier was very delicate but heavy and awkward and they handled the task amazingly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing electrical work. A++++

They were responsive, professional, courteous and most importantly, outstanding electricians. There were no times that we called that we did not reach someone immediately or got a call back within minutes. They worked around our schedule and everything was handled to our satisfaction. Honestly, beyond our satisfaction because we did not get anything close to this kind of service or quality work from any other people we had used in the past. I only wish there was an A+ category.

Dustin and Reno hung a chandelier and installed two flush mount fixtures. They also installed two timers. They came on time, were very professional, and did a great job. I highly recommend this company.

Great service. High quality. Reasonable prices. We just moved into an older home and needed a lot of electrical work. Upgraded the panel, installed exhaust fan in the bathroom, and installed a variety of other overhead lights lights and outlets. Mike is the owner, who came personally to provide an estimate and discuss options for dealing with aluminum wiring. I got a number of different estimates, and Mike stood out as the one who knew his stuff and his pricing was more than fair. Completed all the work yesterday, and we’re very happy. The two electricians were friendly and efficient. They took great care to keep things as clean as possible- laid down a tarp when working on overhead lights, and even asked for a vacuum cleaner to pick up the sawdust that had spilled. Highly recommend

Everything went great and very smooth from the first phone call to the office. Everybody I got to deal with was excellent and really cared about their job in my project. The guys were very clean and we're very careful around all of our personal belongings. Everything was cleaned up at the end of the project like they weren't even there. I could not speak higher of this company. I will definitely hire again and recommend them to anybody looking for electrical services

Mike is an honest guy who's company does great work. He was contracted to install a generator at my residence this past summer. He did not ask for money down until after the plumbing inspection had passed. And he did not ask for the final payment until work was fully completed and he personally inspects his crews' work. His crew were on time and always cleaned up after a day's work. I have dealt with many different Electrical Contractors before and by far, Mike and his company tops them all!! Thanks Mike!!

Mike stuck to his estimate. He came when he said he would. He and his crew were very professional and punctual. Everything went exactly as he outlined. He even told me not pay in full until the project passed final inspection. I was very impressed at how easy it was to get a response from him each time I called.
