BUSCARELLO CONSTRUCTION

A bunch of really nice hardworking professionals who know exactly what they are doing, no doubt through several generations of stone work experience. They leveled off my patio properly so that water drains in one area only. He brings a large crew of good workers who get the job done promptly. The way they relaid my existing walkway was impressive and thorough. No grass growing through those cracks for years to come. A solid team that performs high grade work.

They are thieves and should not be trusted. They are currently being sought for many lawsuits by many co-ops and individuals for taking money for deposits and never finishing the job. They are not licensed. There are a few of them with the last name Buscarello. They owe me $5000. I have done work with them for 20 years. They did quality work for me 20 years ago. It is just a father and son. They took my deposit, they came back once to start the work and they never came back again.  I am taking them to small claims court.

He does excellent work. They are quick, very efficient, knew what they were doing and 8 years later the work has held up it still looks like it did the first day.

I asked for an estimate and got it in a timely manner. They gave me a good estimate of the time it would take. We only lost use of the stoop for a few days, though, with scraping and putting on a rough coat and letting that set, and then the final coat, then letting THAT set, then doing the top then the bottom... and with "rain delays" throughout, the total elapsed time was quite a while. They kept it clean, and coordinated well with the repointing which my neighbor was doing (generated a lot of dust, which delayed the stoop work a bit). Still remains to see if it leaks next year, but so far so good.

It is hard to relate the price to the actual work done. I can't quite give the scope of the work or the hours that they spent, but it seemed like a reasonable price. The neighbors have used him too. They did quality work at a reasonable price. They were fairly reliable and prompt.

This was a big job and it took a long time to complete for a variety of reasons. John Buscarello was a pleasure to work with. His team worked long hours during the heat. They were very clean working and left the site cleaned up daily. We are in attached housing and they had to bring everything through our home. Absolutely nothing was damaged! In the end the work was beautifully done. John was always easy to reach and the young men working with him were great. In the end we had a sun room installed on top of his work. It did not fit exactly in one corner, I called John and within 2 minutes he was there and the minor problem was resolved 10 minutes later.
