AMERISPEC HOME INSPECTION SERVICE

I required a home inspection on a property that I am purchasing.  My Sister, recommeded Amerispec, as they had performed her inpsection 10 years before. I scheduled an appointment for August 8th, 2012, and Mr. Detore was assigned to conduct the inspection.  He was punctual, knowledgeable, personable, and a consumate professional.  I will recommend him to my friends and family.

I thought that they are thorough. They showed up at the time scheduled. They walked through the house with us and pointed out things that could be a problem down the road. Although they are high priced, we liked them well enough to have them inspect another home we were interested in.

I interviewed three home inspection companies before deciding to use AmeriSpec. I believe this company is owned and operated by Tom Detore and his wife Linda, who runs the office. We had to travel from out of the area and Linda was very helpful and quickly scheduled an appointment the day I requested. Tom arrived about fifteen minutes early for the appointment. First thing he asked was "Do you have any questions?" He addressed those concerns and immediately got to work, pointing out things we should and should not be concerned with about the property. He did a very thorough job, told us his major concerns on the spot, and had the written report to us the following day. Several days later, I left a message for him about two of the items in the report, which he quickly returned and answered.
