Very patient with me - a first-time buyer of furniture (of any quality). Advised me as to construction, leather, fabrics, etc. Spent much time with me as I looked through scads of leather and fabric samples. Let me know of upcoming manufacturer sale and held my order until it was announced. High quality furniture in a warehouse setting, which I much preferred to lower quality stuff I found in fancier showrooms.

Mike and his family are a real pleasure to deal with, knew exactly our style of furniture, provided us with a fair price delivery and set up went extremely well. My husband and I could not be more pleased, no doubt our next pruchase will be at PALISADE FURNITURE.

As I continue to sit here waiting for the delivery of the two chairs that I ordered, I wanted to write and express my severe displeasure with the unprofessional treatment of your staff. When I purchased the chairs, I explained to the woman that I would be traveling and would probably not return until just when the chairs were delivered. She said that this was not a problem. As it turned out, I did, in fact, return the day that your staff called to tell me that my chairs were in. I asked if they could be delivered today, Saturday, and they said that was not a problem. On Thursday, someone left me a message asking that I confirm the delivery window for Saturday on Friday. On Friday, I called twice and was told that the chairs would be delivered between 12 3pm. She then said, "you are number 6 in line so it will probably be between 11 3pm. It is now 3:11pm and I am still waiting. I called your store and the man that I spoke to gave me the excuse that "they got a late start this morning" and they should be here within an hour. I then asked if it wouldn't have been good customer service if someone could have called me and told me that they were going to be late. He replied "yes, we should have, and I do apologize. Since this was only arranged on Thursday, I thought I was doing you a favour by setting this up today." He did offer to deliver them some other day but given that I have been waiting all day for them, why would I want to go through this again? I then said that this waiting around, and now the delay, has thrown a serious wrench into my plans for the day to which he replied "the delivery guys left on time this morning, but you just don't know how long these things are going to take." Originally he said that the delivery guys got a late start and now he said that they started on time. Something is amiss here. My experience when I selected the chairs and paid for them was outstanding and it was my intent to return and purchase 2 sofas. After this debacle, and the unpardonable delays who appreciates sitting around all day waiting?! I will spend my money somewhere else on the sofas and definitely let it be known that Palisade Furniture cannot be trusted for on-time delivery.

"So you gave a local buisness who has been in the Englewood community for over 90 years an F because the delivery was an hour late. Thats pretty harsh don't you think? Everything else seemed fine. The product ordered not only came on time, but ahead of schedule. Price was good as well as the service you recieved in the store was it not? We understand that your time is valuable, but you have to have a bit more understanding when waiting for deliveries. It can be difficult to judge time especially in the tri state area."
