I can't say enough about Home Run Electrical Contracting of Englewood, NJ. Robert VanCleef, who I believe is the owner, was recommended by a neighbor who had used them with their new home construction. I had already received a few estimates and was going to go with another local electrician until the last minute when I took my neighbor's advice and gave him a call. Robert came out the very next day and I went over everything I needed to get done. I was in the process of finishing my basement and adding an additional bathroom myself minus the electrical and the plumbing. After listening and taking in everything I needed or wanted he went around and told me he could do anything I wanted but suggested some changes and explained why in detail. As we went through my project I couldn't have been more surprised at his knowledge of all phases of my renovation and all aspects of construction in general. He suggested things that I never thought of, told me all the things I didn't need to do and gave me invaluable advice on how to do the rest of the renovation myself. He listed out all the tools I needed to rent and all the steps I needed to do. Needless to say I went with Home Run Electrical Contracting and with the money I saved using them along with all of the things I didn't need to do I hired them again for my outdoor patio and landscape lighting. The inspector came out and everything passed and was up to code! More importantly my family and I are enjoying the extra bathroom, living space and I absolutely love pulling up to the house at night with the beautiful landscape lighting! Because of Robert's professionalism, quality work, HONESTY and his extensive knowledge of everything not just electrical I strongly recommend you give them a call. Estimates are free so you have nothing to lose but I would bet anything that you will not be disappointed!

The place that sells new intercom systems recommended Rob to do the job. He came over and went through my house and figured out exactly what I needed. When the units came in, he came over and installed everything. he did a great job, was polite, and very neat. his pricing was reasonable. I was so happy with the job that I then had him install sensors for my outside lights. Now they turn on at dusk and off in the morning. No more timers!

He is also honest. He told me not to waste my money on a job I was thinking of doing. Could have made a lot more money

off of me!
