Daniel, Mauricio and their crew did an AMAZING job with my home renovations wood flooring, painting, accent wall wood panel installation, bathroom repairs and tiling, removing an interior wall, kitchen counter and shelving, electricals and more. They are so friendly, and paid attention to my concerns, questions, things I wanted changed/corrected and were great collaborators to find solutions and bring my vision to life. It's been a fantastic HGTV Moment for me and my family! Our old home is a beautiful New Home. I'm in awe of their details to design. I researched for a year for a reputable contractor and Home Improvements Done Right did not disappoint. From the first meeting and all through the project, Daniel and Mauricio's pleasant personality kept me at ease. The two cared and constantly asked for my opinion and if their work was satisfactory. And they have TOP WORKERS! Always on time, pleasant as well and thorough. Daniel and Mauricio have changed the contracting game. For anyone who doesn't chose them for their projects are taking a major risk. I will definitely recommend Home Improvements Done Right to anyone who will listen. And I will chose them again and again.

This contracting company does live up to their name. They do what they day and do it in a timely manner. They built a new 5' X 9' addition to my house that included a 1/2 bath and a hallway. They handled everything from the beginning to the end of the project very professionally and with great expertise for knowing how to accomplish the job. This is a great company to hire to do many different home improvement projects. I also had them do the following work in my house: gut and retile/remodel 2 existing bathrooms and replaced surface ceiling lights with LED slim lights. The prices for the projects were fair and the quality was excellent. They are all about trying to help their customers save money where/when possible. Their workers were magnificent with their knowledge, skills and attention to all detail. I was totally satisfied with their work. They stayed on the work site daily until the projects were completed and they returned very timely to complete a job once the material came in. If you are lookin for an honest, reliable, experienced and dedicated company the Home Improvements Done Right is the company you should hire.

A Contractor from Heaven! Their work was excellent and I was so happy with their professionalism. They always answered their phone or they would get right back to you. They have great personalities and are very respectful to everyone. They offer options to help with planning for the project because of their experience. Daniel & Maurisio are excellent partners as they are at the work site everyday and every detail must be perfect. Folks they are timely and their work is second to none. One last thing, they do it all, no sub Contractors (except for HVAC) & they make sure the quality workmanship is the final product.

Mauricio and Daniel were amazing. We had an unfinished pool house and they came in and finished it and installed a bathroom. Their workmanship, attention to detail and response time was great. They showed up exactly when they said they would and the job was done on time. We could not be happier and would highly recommend them.

I have used Home Improvements Done Right several times both on my investment properties (buy; holds, flips, new construction), as well as my personal home and each time Mauricio and Daniel were able to deliver above expectations and within budget. They and their teams are very easy to work with, and can work autonomously, making logical judgement calls in the field and when necessary, will suggest thoughtful improvements. Communications are clear, timely, and effective. They are competitive from a pricing perspective, and their work quality is among the best out there. They leave the work area neat and orderly and their employees are extremely polite and friendly. For all the aforementioned, Home Improvements Done Right is my default GC, and I have even referred them to other builders who had issues with their previous contractor's performance. The feedback on those referrals have always been extremely positive. I will continue to use them on my projects.

From start to finish Mauricio and his team performed an excellent job in completing our deck. They were really professional, great workmanship, prompt response and pleasure to do business with. The Maywood inspector was amazed how well constructed the deck was. The deck was completed earlier than expected and was beyond our expectations. I am planning to work with Mauricio and his team again and already recommended them to our friens and family.

These contractors know what they are doing. They are easy to work with and great at communicating any issues. Great attention to detail they have a solid team of men that consistently work really hard until the job is done.

Danny and Mauricio have a wonderful team. The young guys work hard, and everything they did was in good quality. They were so professional and always put the customers interest in the top priority. What I wanted to share was that heating system did not work in the late night in my house before the project was completely finished. I tried to call Danny and Mauricio, and both of them came to my house right away. They spent so much extra-time to fix the gas boiler. I really appreciated. I highly recommend Danny and Mauricio team.

Danny and Mauricio recently did a full bathroom remodel in my apartment. I could not say enough good things about their professionalism and excellent work. They were both always responsive, did what they said they would do and worked quickly. I received a few quotes before hiring them and they were the most reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone.

Daniel and his crew did an outstanding job on my bathroom project in Fair Lawn, NJ. I hired Daniel again to fix a bath for my Mother-In-Law and that job also came out great. I now have Daniel looking at another 2 or 3 projects for me, so I clearly like his work and I would recommend HIDR to anyone. Daniel is honest and professional and reliable and fast. What else could you want in a contractor??!!

Basement remodel. After researching and interviewing various contractors I decided to go with Home Improvements Done Right. I spoke with Daniel/owner regarding a remodel of my outdated 1960s basement/family room. (You know what I'm referring to- that ghastly shag carpet, the old wall paneling, the crappy ceiling, an old brick & mortar bar, etc. etc.) It would start with a complete gutting (and removal) of all the old crap, and then a modern update! Daniel was quite personable and presented a fair estimate for the entire project. The remodel included sheetrock to the walls (1/2") & ceiling (5/8"), laying a floating floor (two rooms), adding a large storage closet, molding, trim and paint. From start to finish the job lasted the predicted 2+ weeks. Most of the work was done by a two man crew (Cesar & Josue-both very reliable, polite and respectful). Daniel, though not always present was available anytime I called him. During the remodel process several options were presented (by Daniel or myself) to possibly enhance the outcome. Though I did anticipate additional expense with "incidentals" I may want, they do add up very quickly. (For example: I noticed there was no insulation behind the removed paneling so I wanted insulation added to the walls which had not been included in the original estimate.) NOTE: There will always be some type of issue that has to be addressed (meaning more expenditures) with a job this size, you can bet on it! This is NOT something derogatory directed at Home Improvements but you know something always comes up. Upon near completion (they had to return a couple of days later to add some trim which hadn't arrived yet-not their fault). Dan insisted that I withhold some of the payment until the job is completely finished. Overall, I'm very satisfied with entire project. It looks great! I have another smaller project in mind and I will definitely be calling Home Improvements (to get the job) Done Right.

I initially just found them through google for just one project. I liked the work they did and the price, so I hired them on for multiple projects. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! They were very professional, easy to deal with, always worked with my ideas and gave me a lot of recommendation for materials. They were detail-oriented with their work.

Mauricio and Daniel were amazing. They came and gave us great ideas on how to optimize our new bathrooms space. The work quality that they did was perfect. Any little change we wanted to make was done quickly and they completed the project very fast.

I have been in the construction business for over 25 years and Daniel from Home Improvements was one of the most professional, polite and quality individuals I have ever worked with. He was responsive and thorough with his work and performed timely. He was in constant communication to talk through any detail that needed clarification. He has a busy company and gives the customers he is working with, dedicated attention, so be patient with his communication. He will always get back with you. He is a professional through and through.
