Its great. I love it there.They are fantastic. I had called them and asked about it. That is why its nice to go consistently to the same place. They know me. They know what to advise me and all. Its a little drive for me to go, but not that far. This last thing that happened was a little concerning to me, but over the years they had been good to me. It was ok. I have been using them for, the first car I bought from them they were in another location, but it was ten years ago. It was an 06.

The first service was free as part of the price. We have been going to them for at least 15 years. We have had a long term relationship with them. We know the managers there. They are very competitive pricewise. It's not the closest one to our home, but we do feel very comfortable, like we are not being taken advantage of. They are really giving us a fair price and a good deal for the money. I think it's important to have a good relationship. It means more than the dollar.

I made an appointment with them it was actually a rainy day when I drove in. The thing, I really liked was I drove into the garage and the guy was waiting there. So, I did not have to get out into the weather the guy took my information and keys. I walked inside the desk was basically there they asked, "could I help you?"  I told them what was going on and told them would it be possible to go for a test drive, they stated that was not a problem but not necessary we will address the issue. I sat in their waiting room for less than 5 minutes a guy came out, said "Mr. Siegel, we found the problem and its covered under your drive train warranty." Which is exciting, I did not have to pay for it. They fixed it within the hour, I think hour and half it was done. I was on the road problem solved I was happy. It was nice to have something like that especially for free.

I don't think they did a great job on following through with the recall. They had to do a recall on the recall. They didn't do it right the first time and I had to go back. That was a national thing. They were fine. I have a Forester and it's a good car. They did as good a job as they could and I'm satisfied. It's a good car. It was very positive with them. It is a pleasant place to go and wait for my car. They have hot chocolate, coffee, TV and WIFI. I can call in the morning and get in that afternoon. They are courteous and it's worth the price, and service to keep going back.

We've been driving Subaru's since 1985 and this is the 6th Subaru we purchased from Liberty Subaru in Oradell/Emerson.     Liberty's price quote for the Forester was competitive with another area subaru dealer. Liberty has also been servicing our cars and they are EXCELLENT.

I have a Subaru, and I am buying another one because I really like the service department, because they are wonderful and honest. I have had my first Subaru for 7 years, and I have religiously used them. I never pay a lot of money for it, I need some tires or brakes, and my bill is never high. Whatever they do, they do it well, and my car runs well, and I drive a lot. I am giving my this car to my daughter, and I am buying a new car from them next week. I have never had any issues with the services. I was leaning towards buying another car, but when I want my car serviced, I want it done well, and with honesty.

After demonstration and negotiations the salesperson came up with a quote for a monthly payment. The quote and the details of the deal were written down and remembered by both, myself and my husband. We told him that we were on the market for a better deal and will shop around. Two days later the salesman called back and said that he was ready to negotiate and make a better deal. The original deal involved and was calculated for a 5 year (63 month) loan from Subaru Motors Financing. After the phone negotiations, the salesman came up with a monthly payment quote that satisfied us and I told him I will come in to purchase the car the next day. The next day, I called to confirm our appointment and to go over the deal before I come in, to make sure I wasn't making another trip just to negotiate. The final deal was confirmed on the phone and I drove from Fort Lee to Emerson (10 miles). Only to wait for over an hour for my trade- in to be evaluated, my information taken down and such, then to be told by their financial manager that I am signing a loan from Subaru for 6 year (72 month) car loan.The final quote, so-called and quot;dealand quot; it turns out, was based on the calculations involving an extra year of car payments! After arguing over such overtly questionable practices, I showed the manager and the salesman my original notes with the original quote and clearly stated words -- and quot;5 year loan.and quot; I was told that they were only trying to accommodate my quest for a low monthly payment. I calculated that I was supposed to save about $1,800.- off the sticker price with their proposal made over the phonel. With the and quot;dealand quot; of an extra year of car payments I would be paying about 4000.- more than was originally at the table! It is absolutely vile and sexist, but also bad for their business that car salesman still treat women, with advanced degrees and good salaries, who ask all the right questions, as if we were stupid and still an easy prey. I guess all these car commercials have a point, but even with a man around or on the background you can still get taken. Apparently, there are million ways to cheat and quot;legitimatelyand quot; as the sub-prime crisis had demonstrated. People and businesses just don't learn! I won't be making any and quot;dealsand quot; with Liberty Subaru of Emerson any time soon!

One annoying aspect of modern tire design is that the pressure sensors for each tire are connected to the valve stems, which for a period of time, were being made out of rather brittle aluminum. The stem on one of our Subaru's tires snapped off while I was trying to top up the tire pressure. Although I had a service station install a new sensor, they couldn't re-sync the sensor with the car's main CPU, so that the low-pressure warning light remained on.
I decided to take the car to Liberty Subaru. Liberty isn't the least-expensive place to have any work done, but the quality of their service is high. And, because they have a large service operation, it's easy to get a minor repair done quickly, sometimes without a prior appointment. You also can just walk in to get an oil change. On balance, we have been very happy with the quality of service work they provide.

First, I sent online to see what the car (2014 Subaru Forester) was selling for. Then, I went to a local dealership to test drive the car. I told them I was not yet ready to buy, but that didn't stop them from sitting me down and trying to sell me the car on the spot. I listened, but they did not come close to my target price. Then I went online and got several quotes from different dealerships. Liberty came back with the best offer. The car had a few more options than I wanted and still was under the price I was willing to pay. I suspected some gimmick, so I called them up and they said that I wouldn't even have to come down to leave a deposit, that I could do everything online. Everything was very easy, it was nice not to have to haggle. They walked me through the whole process, E-mailed me all of the forms, which I faxed back. Then they they took my deposit over the phone and I picked up the car the next day. When I got there they gave me a little bit of a hard sell on the extended warranty. It went very quickly, though, signing the forms, having all the features of the car explained and giving the final payment. Last time I bought a car, it wasn't ready and took me about two hours to finally drive away. The whole process at Liberty took about 45 minutes. The floor mats were recalled and they didn't have replacements yet. A week later when I went to get the license plates, the floor mats still had not arrived, so they gave me a nice discount on the rubber mats, which I wanted anyway. There's a lot of stress in buying a car, and I feel the Liberty made the process as easy as possible.
