It was too far out of my budget.

We are still waiting to have a problem fixed, but they have been out looking the problem and they are trying to get it resolved. The person who came out and sold us the fence, who is in charge of outdoor sales was very helpful and he was very nice. We had about three estimates and he was the best as far as explaining and everything and answering all our questions. The price was competitive.

I ordered and paid for a custom made storm door for my home. The order was placed in mid-July and I paid in full. When the door came into the store, it took their installer another week to get to me. When he came to install, he opened the box (which was in perfect condition) and hound the door to be damaged badly (smashed) in five places! All Lowes did for me was to order another door. I waited 4 weeks for it to come in and the installer to bring it to my house. Lowes had agreed that once it was in, they'd come up with some discount. Well, he opened the box for the new door, and it was smashed, too. Actually appeared to be the same door in another box. Lowes offered to order a third door. Are they kidding! They are attempting to not return all of my money (including cost for measuring a door I never got. I'm done. I'm going to a door store. Very unhappy with Lowes. Two months plus and no door. Quality control - not.

I paid in full for the service at the time of the contract - one month later a contractor showed up to take pictures and arrange for permits. I received a call from Lowes project manager asking me who came to my home - when I told him who it was - he said not to deal with him as they have had problems with him and he was not supposed to do any more Lowes jobs. He offered me my money back - I informed him that I still wanted the deck and to find another contractor - originally wanted the deck completed in early August for my birthday party, was told that he couldn't guarantee that. I then told him that I wanted it installed at least in time to use for the Labor Day weekend, again was told that he couldn't guarantee that. I waited a week and then called his office to find out the status of finding another contractor (still can't believe that a company as large as Lowes can't find another contractor to do the job) - was told he was out of the office for the day - I then left a message on his cell phone (which he never responded to - in fact I never heard from him again!). I was contacted by Lowes about a week later saying that how did I want my money back as I had cancelled the job (I informed the lady that I had not cancelled the job and was waiting to hear if they had found another contractor) after some rather annoying banter about the problems their having, I finally said to go ahead and cancel the job and refund my money - had to wait for them to put it back into my account - funny how that works - they took the money out the same day I paid for the job but took their time putting it back). Due to this I decided to opt for a patio instead of the deck and am glad I did - the job only cost 100 more but the outcome was better then the original plans (instead of a 20x16 deck - I now have a color stamped concrete patio 34x14 and walkway. I'll be using the provider for the patio for further jobs in the near future - and will be looking at either Home Depot or another provider to have my privacy fence installed.

It worked out great. They completed the job in one day even though it was raining. They did a good job!

I went there last week and I have another appointment on Wednesday. I liked the fact that they gave me some input and ideas that I might like. They will even come to your home for 75 dollars and help you with the design. Then, if you get everything through them, you get it back. That's exactly what I needed, somebody to come here.

I go there all the time and get a military discount. They have clean stores and pretty knowledgeable salespeople.
