The move went quickly, efficiently with care taken to avoid any damage to furniture. Excellent crew and based on their performance, we would use them again.

They were very unprofessional. They delivered everything on the day of the move. They required two additional trips to deliver my belongings. They still never delivered our wedding china which is worth about $1,200. Even though I purchased their insurance, they didn't reimburse us for our china. There is no question that they lost it. It was a very bad experience. They had no inventory or list of what was even being moved. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

BK moved the contents of my house from New Jersey to Philadelphia and moved a refrigerator back from Philly to my old house. I went back to NJ with the movers to admit them so they could deliver the fridge they had brought back. They were on time and their estimate was close to the actual cost. The bill included an extra $200 for additional insurance. The driver calculated the actual cost and I paid immediately by check.
They damaged some of my property in the move. This in itself is not so unusual. These thing happen. But I feel they treated me very unprofessionally regarding coming to some kind of settlement regarding the damages.
I noticed that refrigerator-2 that had been moved back to the old house had been badly scratched up so I knew there would be a claim. After the mover left, I also observed that the sliding door they had temporarily removed in order to get refrigerator-1 out of the house was no longer operating properly.
The next day I received a call from BK saying that the driver had calculated the bill incorrectly and that it was actually about $135 more.
A few days later, I showed up at the BKs offices to ask about filing a claim and to settle the additional charges. Neil came to my house a few hours later. He took pictures of the refrigerator for the purposes of filing a claim, but he refused to acknowledge the damage to my sliding door. Previously my six year old grandson could open and close it easily. Now I had trouble moving it myself. Neil repeatedly showed me how HE (a mover) could slide the door and that there was no way to know how it operated before. Basically he was calling me a liar and accusing me of making stuff up to try and cheat the moving company. At this point I decided to withold the additional $135 until everything was sorted out.
Eventually my son and I were able to repair the door. When BK put it back in place they did not get it completely on the track.
Over the next month I traded several letters and e-mails with BK. They insisted that they would only file a claim if I pay them the additional $135. In their most recent note they claim that if I had only done so initially, the insurance company would have repaired any damage to my door, neglecting to mention that that they had insisted repeatedly that their was no damage to the door and certainly never offered to file a claim for those nonexistent damages.
The single most outrageous thing was that they refused to acknowledge that they had damaged my door. I find it hard to believe that they really think I was making this problem up. Had they simply faced the obvious truth, they could have sent a man over to fix it. I would have paid the balance of the bill. They would have filed an insurance claim of refrigerator 2. Everyone would have been happy and I would have been writing a good review rather than a bad one.
As it stands, they are out their $135, I am out the value of the damages to refrigerator 2. I am thinking of going after them in small claims court.
Bk movers treated me in an unprofessional and insulting manner and I would never recommend them to anyone.

When I questioned the fee, I was told it was $525 for just the and quot;mileageand quot; and then 3 HOURS labor at $105 ON TOP of that (to move 4 pieces, two of which were chairs 1 man could lift alone) for a total of $840. I called a competitor who charged $420 total for the complete move. This makes sense, since the move, all in all, will take approximately 4 hours, at $105 an hour.
With respect to and quot;mileage charges, note for reference that the IRS in 2013 allows for deductions for business related mileage at $0.565 per mile. For 160 miles (which is more than they would be driving), the and quot;mileage costand quot; would be $90.40. DO NOT use these movers for small moves (I wouldn't use them at all). And check very carefully how they are charging for and quot;mileageand quot; versus labor if you schedule them.

It was phenomenal! The crew was prompt, courteous and professional. They came in on time and on budget. They arrived exactly at 9 am as promised. They were very nice, knew exactly what they were doing and how to do it efficiently. The members of the crew were so nice to me and my family that I actually still remeber their names: Juan, Peter, Rudy amd Fred. Fantastic. I couldn't ask for a better crew.
Please keep in mind that my cost was high because we had a LOT of stuff!

We got a quote a couple of weeks in advance. We were quoted 3 movers for 6 hours coming to about $930. We didn't have a confirmed closing date yet and were told just to let them know as soon as possible. We scheduled the actual move 8 days in advance.

Movers showed up about 10 minutes early. We walked through the house and I pointed out the few things not being moved. The head mover told me the boss sent 4 guys instead of 3 to get the job done quicker but that the 4th guy would be billed at half price.

We have two kids 7 and 2 and it seemed that we were more concerned about them being in the way then the movers, in a good way. We were constantly scolding them and telling them to get out of the way, they thought they were helping, the movers were happy to work around them and thought they were cute.

The movers worked swiftly taking periodic staggered smoke breaks. The breaks were actually shorter and less frequent then I expected. I almost told them to take it a bit easy a few times.

At the new place, they were cautious not to track in mud from the rain the night before, laying down moving blankets to protect the tile floor.

The move took just over 4 hours and we were billed for 4 hours. Total came to $670, $260 under the estimate. To be fair, we did have some friends come over and help us move some of the stuff the night before but at the rate the movers went, this saved us no more than about 30 minutes.

BK was the best! Their 3 man team was polite, helpful and hardworking. This was the first adult move for my daughter, who was a little overwhelmed by the process. The moving men where understanding, making suggestions and helping to relieve some of the tension. At the new house, there was a problem getting a very large wardrobe up the narrow staircase. The men kept trying different positions until they managed to get it up the stairs, while keeping their attitude positive and trying to avoid scrapping the walls. I was just amazed when they were successful. Job well done!

Arrived on time , fast loading up and arrived at destination on time.

Had a great deal of trouble with one large piece of gym equipment fitting through narrow doorway in old home. They really stuck with it and worked very hard. Very careful with items and inside the home.

Had one minor issue with the youngest member of the crew on pick-up where my wife was on-site. He went into the refrigerator to get a bottle of water without asking. My wife was upset and called me and I called the owner before they arrived at destination. He asked me not to get involved with saying anything and that he would handle it and apologized profusely since he knew that was wrong. We discussed a lack of knowledge of right and wrong and proper upbringing due to this persons young age. It was handled to my satisfaction including calling my wife to apologize as well. I have already recommended them to a friend.

They used a 3 man team which arrived on time. They quickly loaded the entire house in a couple hours. They worked fast and did a good job. I had a couple of really large desks that needed to be somewhat disassembled to be moved. They quickly took them apart and got them back together quickly at the new location. Rated a B because of some minor damage to the entertainment center. (Which was very difficult to move.)

The movers arrived on time. There were two movers, and they were very polite. The gentlemen understood what I wanted them to do, and moved quickly. They wrapped four rooms of furniture, and moved the furniture into a POD storage unit in about an hour. I was very worried about the way the furniture would be packed into the POD because it would be relocated and stored at another address. When I opened the container at the second address, the furniture had not shifted at all. I know that's their job but nonetheless, I was very impressed! I have to say that while I was impressed with the movers, I was extremely disappointed (and a bit surprised) with the decision of the business manager regarding the final cost. His unwillingness to re-negotiate the charges will likely affect my decision when I unpack the POD and move the furniture into a residence. I was charged $350 for 3 hours work, when the job was completed in about an hour. The Manager on Duty would not reconsider the charges. Personally, I think this is a bad management decision, but it's not my business...

The estimator showed up and was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The crew showed up on time and was very polite. About a 1/2 hour into the move as they were loading my furniture on the truck, the crew leader spent about 20 minutes in my bathroom with the door closed. About a half hour later he spent another 20 minutes in my bathroom with the door closed. They dropped the basketball hoop off the back of the truck and damaged it. They apologized for taking so long to load everything, about 3 hours for a 3 BR condo, and assured me the unloading would not take nearly that long, estimating it would be about 1 1/2 hours. It took over five hours (total move about 10 hours). I eliminated some tasks because it was taking so long, like bringing in some things from a shed and from a storage unit. They took forever to put the furniture together. I was very nice with them and they were very polite to me, but they took about ten hours for a job that was estimated at 5 hours. A few days later I called the office to discuss what may have been the problem. The office manager called me "dude" once too often and I began to lose patience with him. I was less than accommodating, although I was not outwardly rude in any way. He offered to discuss the issue with his crew to see what may have been the reason why a job that was estimated at 5 hours took 10 hours with less work than what was estimated. Nobody ever called back. I would not use this company again, nor would I recommend them.
