We are a residential concrete company with two to three employees including owner who is on every job start to finish to insure quality and workmanship. We service homeowners and contractors. We mostly take 50% deposits at contract signing or job starts for material costs some jobs just paid in full at completion. We are insured and licensed with the state of New Jersey.
Pete came out and talked to me, then even let my wife and I come to his house one evening to see some sample concrete work. For the job, he and his guys showed up on time, were friendly and courteous, and I can't tell you how many times he brought me out, discussed options (like colors etc) and even created a small sample "work pad" where he could play with some color so i could see it before we decided. He was truly patient and careful. Of course, the real issue is - how did the job turn out? Frankly, it's beautiful. Really, there's definitely some artist in this guy because it's just eye-catching. Everyone comments on it. He also does all the little extras, like keeping the site clean between days, and leveling the ground so it all looked nice when done. (And throwing down some grass seed on new soil - which we didnt even discuss in advance.) I think he's just a nice guy trying to make a living doing something he enjoys. If stamped concrete is what you want, you can't go wrong here. Now i will add, i tried calling him to get a quote 2 months prior, and never got a call back. I then made arrangements with another contractor, and right at the end, things fell thru. So i had to wait a bit and then thought i'd try Precision again.. This time he called back. I didn't bring it up but he did mention at some point "I was so busy this summer, i had to stop returning calls." I guess that's a good thing - you know he's well liked. But just a warning, you might need to pick your time of year carefully, if you want to get thru. I do wish he would have someone call back and say "hey, can it wait a month?" I would have felt better about that. But still, he was worth the wait.

Pete and his team were great!!! Pete as the owner of precision decorative concrete keep us completely updated on each step of the way through our large project. Pete first met with my wife and I to quote us on completing a stamped front walkway and rear patio along with a 2 car driveway of standard concrete. Pete was very professional and explained what would be involved in our project, he took the time to educate us on every detail and helped us choose colors and patterns. Although precision decorative concrete was not the least expensive quote we got but seemed by far the most trustworthy and knowledgeable. Due to the size and complexity of our project it took over a week to complete with Pete and his team showing up on time and when they said they would. Pete even went the extra mile to make sure we were completely happy by doing several extras at no additional cost!!!! I can’t say enough good things about precision decorative concrete, I would defiantly recommend and use them again!!!

It couldn't have gone any better! Pete and his crew were very professional and did an excellent job. They finished my 1 day job in half a day and Pete had some great tips on caring for the patio so it stays that nice for years to come. I would most definitely hire them again!
Description of Work: I needed someone to powerwash, degrease and reseal my stamped concrete patio as well as rebuild the block crawlspace access in the back of the house.

I did thorough research for a concrete company to install my basketball pad and came upon Pete from Precision Decorative Concrete. Pete was very customer service oriented, professional and responded to my voicemail in a timely manner. Pete came out to my house and listened to what I wanted to be done, He was very knowledgeable and explained the process thoroughly to me. I was not given a run around of what I should need or shouldn't need and explained there could be some hiccups. Pete provided a free quote with what was to be done and with a great price that could not be beat. I contacted Pete numerous times on going back and forth of what I wanted to have done and he was very understanding with my questions and concerns and returned my calls in a timely manner. The day of the job Pete and his guys were on time and started work immediately. They understood my concerns for the pier footing for the basketball goal and reassured me that he would make this like it was his own. Pete and the guys worked very hard and determined from start to finish and completed the job in a timely manner with no faults and were very clean. After the concrete cured, Pete came back on the weekend and sealed the pad as well as do some amazing Decorative work by scoring in the Free Throw Perimeter and 3 Point lines. I have never seen this done before but Pete brought it to my attention that he would be able to do it and we ran with it. I have gotten so many compliments of the basketball pad with the etching of the free throw perimeter and 3 point line and am very happy! I watched Pete do the whole scoring and was amazed by his workmanship, especially the free hand of the inner 3 point line. I cant say it enough, the basketball pad and pier looks amazing and is great for my daughters, could not ask for a better company than Pete and his guys from Precision Decorative Concrete. I will be referring them to anyone that I know that needs concrete work done. A++ company. Pete May, Precision Decorative Concrete, Thank you very much for making my family happy.
