The textured concrete product was applied very late in the season - and that night the temperature dropped to 25F. I suspect this is not within the acceptable parameters of this product's application, since this temperature caused micro-fissures along the entire deck surface- and in one section there are large deep cracks that I am afraid to walk on. I've written letters and called - voicing my concerns about freeze-thaw cycles and the long term durability of the deck - and an entire season went by. I have not had a site visit yet. I stopped in the shop in December 2011 (figuring it was the slow season and I could get some of their time) and was told they would check it out but they had not. I stopped in last week (June 2012) and was asked to wait 2-3 weeks for a proper visit since the season is busy. Really? Also, I was very happy with the liner repair... except that I wanted to install an aquador so I don't have to worry about rising water levels during winter rain. The threads on the skimmer plate screws were stripped, and since the aquador fits on to it's own skimmer plate, it can only be installed once the existing plate is removed. I really like the shop overall but I feel like my concerns have not been taken seriously and that the responses have not been punctual or professional. I'll still buy chemicals but will think twice before using them for big projects.
