I had bought through a private sale an old 2002 Ford F-150 King Ranch.  The truck's engine was not running, a brake line was leaking and the transfer case had locked.  The F-150 truck was parked in Flemington, about 36 miles from my home in Edison.  I made arrangements over the telephone at around 8 am in the morning on the actual date I wanted to move the vehicle and requested the F-150 to be carried on a flatbed to my driveway between 1-3 P on that day.  Al, the owner, turned up a little after 3PM with the flatbed tow truck in Flemington.  He assessed the situation and skillfully pulled the F-150 truck onto his flatbed truck, chained it and drove over to Edison.  Al was careful unloading my truck - there was no damage to either the F-150 truck or my blacktop driveway at the destination.   He was thoughtful enough to block all four wheels of the disabled pickup (had a leaking brake line) using bricks to ensure that my truck was left in a safe condition.  The bricks prevented my F-150 from accidentally rolling down my driveway and into the middle of the road, possibly hitting a pedestrian walking by or a car driving past my house.
Overall I was very happy with the way the towing was handled.  Al was polite and did a good job, did no damage and had safety in mind while performing the task at both ends.
