All County Appliance Parts & Service

It was easy to get an appointment.  The price, to us, of $235 to fix the door hinge seemed expensive.  We were told that there were four parts needed, and it took a month for those parts to come in.  So we called in mid-November but didn't get our door fixed until mid-December.  They were punctual and called to give us a two-hour window the morning of the appointment.  The repair person did not replace the food taken off of the door, which would have been appreciated.

Mark, the service provider, was very nice and thoughtful when he made the diagnosis. We were told that the part would take 5-10 business days to come in and to finish the repair. That was early August.
It is now October, and we have gotten nowhere painfully slowly with All County. they have done nothing in terms of being proactive on this job. We usually have to leave 3-4 messages to get a return call back. All we usually get from them is "let us investigate", with no follow up.
Just basic customer service would have the contractor following up to say that the product is delayed, or why their service has been so horribly slow. But that has not been the case to date.
We have been extremely frustrated with the service so far. We hope they complete it promptly and well. In either case, we will follow up and note it to Angie's list, but so far, this has been, BY FAR, the worst experience we have had with a Angie's List service provider.

OUR UPDATE IS THAT IT IS NOW IN MONTH 4....4 MONTHS... AND STILL NOTHING FROM THIS PROVIDER. NO FOLLOW UP, NO EXPLANATION, NO REFUND. THEY ARE THE DEFINITION OF POOR SERVICE.

They were punctual, professional but I did think they were rather expensive. They were fair though.

The communication was poor and although the owner did apologize when he finally came out to look at the machine, my overall experience with this company was very bad and waiting 2 months to have your washing machine repaired is ridiculous. The only reason I gave a C for the price was that they didn't charge me additional to repair the control panel so they probably didn't make money off of the repair but in my opinion they should have given me money back for how poorly they handled my situation. My experience may be an isolated one but I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Ed was very pleasant. Set up an appointment quickly. Quite different from the long wait I was told from two other service centers. Once he learned the problem, he had to return the next day with the new belt.
