$1,150 — Miele Refrigerator Repair I had an excellent experience with RJ Appliances NJ Inc. My Miele refrigerator stopped cooling properly, and I know these appliances are complicated. The technician arrived on time, did a full diagnostic, and explained everything clearly. What I appreciated most was the transparency. After they opened the fridge, they found an additional issue with the door gasket that wasn’t visible during the initial inspection. They gave me two options — a full door replacement (which is standard for Miele) or a cheaper repair option. I chose the repair, and it saved me a lot of money. The fridge has been running perfectly ever since. Great communication, honest pricing, and skilled techs. Highly recommended.

refrigerator.I had one of the most disappointing and frustrating experiences with RJ Appliances NJ INC during a recent repair of my Miele refrigerator. When the technician first came to inspect the unit, they claimed to have done a full diagnostic and gave us a final quote of around $1,000 (after tax). We agreed, thinking everything had been properly assessed. But when they came back to do the actual repair, the story completely changed. They suddenly “discovered” that the fridge door wouldn’t close properly and said we would need to replace the entire door — for several thousand dollars! After we refused that ridiculous suggestion, they said they could “repair” the door instead, but only if we paid an extra $850. At that point, with the refrigerator already taken apart, we had no real choice but to accept. This whole process felt misleading and unfair. If the technician really did a full inspection, how did such a major issue appear only later? It seemed like a classic case of bait-and-switch pricing — quoting one number and then inflating the cost after we had already committed. We expected professionalism and transparency, especially since RJ Appliances is associated with Miele service. Instead, we were left feeling pressured, overcharged, and deceived. ⚠️ Warning to others: Be extremely cautious before agreeing to any quote from this company. Make sure everything is documented and confirmed in writing before you proceed. Very disappointing experience — definitely would not recommend RJ Appliances NJ INC.

RJ Appliances was the first to respond to our request. They were very easy to work with and professional. The job was handled and completed within 3 days, and only took that long because they needed to order a part. I highly recommend RJ Appliances.

I am not one to write stellar reviews these days but this will be an exception. My refrigerator was no longer keeping cold and ice cream was soup in the freezer. Did not have a known solution so I searched on Angi which came up with 4 options. Russell (RJ Appliance Repair) was extremely prompt in replying to my needs and was very professional and seemed honest so I figured I would try until I had a reason to move on. Russell came out and gave me my options and I decided to get a new one which was a bit of a challenge due to space requirements. I had a new one installed and found Russell to be awesome through the whole process. He was very prompt, professional, friendly, honest and informative through the whole process. If anyone needs help with appliances, please stay local and with a family owned business and call Russell. I cannot thank him enough and rate his services very high. This is very rare in today's world. You get what you pay for...... All said Russell gets 5 plus stars. Hope this review helps Russell and anyone reading it. Win Win!

They fixed it quite quickly, gave me some advices about maintaining the machine and what might cause the issue in the first place. Did not make a mess at all. They are also very perlite and respectful, even take off their shoes when they observed that we did not wear shoes in our home).

It went ok.

$700 I paid for washing machine dryer and now I got to call them again. The problem is that i am in California and my property is in New Jersey and they are taking advantage of this. I am very dissatisfied.

Russell is an incredible person and business owner. He is so polite and helpful over the phone and very professional when it comes to scheduling and following up. He knows a lot about dishwashers and was super helpful and reasonably priced. I will use him again and again for any appliance issues moving forward.

This is a supplement to my earlier review. To Russell’s credit I raised my concern- not about the quality of the repair which was excellent, but the price. He offered a partial refund which was much appreciated. I am amending my review based on his promise to do so.

Excellent repair service company. Diagnosed, repaired, put back together in less than a half an hour. Very reasonable price too

He was great! He got back to within minutes of my request and was able to fix my washing machine. He saved me from having to buy a brand new one. I would definitely recommend him!!

Russell was very friendly and recognized the problem immediately! He said the canister hadn’t been changed and thus ice was not being made! Also, there was an ice cube blocking something! In either case he said if it was not producing ice in 48 hours to call him. It started working within 12 hours! I was so happy not to lay out more money! And....Russell called me to find out if everything was working!

Very good defective dryer timer was replaced.

Russel was great! I called on Monday, and he came on Tuesday and fixed our fridge. Was a bit more expensive than expected. But he had all the parts with him and fixed it all on site in about an hour. Was worth it.

Ovens need to be replaced, one needs new control panel
