About us
Jonathan Motorcars is that dealership you pass and think "one day I will be able to purchase a car from there..." Unfortunately for us, that is the common initial thought of our customers. However WE ARE the best priced cars around. We usually hold over 30 cars under $16k being 2012 & 2013, and we are home of the best priced High-End cars anywhere, usually being sold at trade-in prices or $5-6k under retail. Where else do you find Porsche's for $20k and Bentley's for $50k. Every car is fully detailed, all dings removed, anything broken fixed, fully serviced, new oil & filters, new brakes & tires if needed, all mechanical issues fixed... all at our cost. 95% of our business is returning customers and referrals, making word-of-mouth and reputation our utmost priority. Come by and take a look at what a real quality car, and the best bang for your buck really looks like! 609.871.2700

"Thank you so much [member name removed]. We appreciate your business and trust in our vehicles. Have fun on your trip overseas, and we hope you come back with plenty of pictures to show us!"
"Hi [member name removed]! Thank you for the review. That is very true, our customers do become like family to us, especially a family as kind and loyal as yours."
I brought my 1986 Buick Grand National to Jonathan Motorcars to have a new CPU system installed on December 8th 2011. They informed me I would have to put down a few thousand to purchase the system which I agreed to and gave them 2,650.00 specifically for CPU system not for any other service. I was not given any invoice, estimate NOTHING. They eagerly took my check, however. Fast forward to April 2012 when I called the service dept. about my car as when I initially dropped the car off they said it would be done around Feb. In April they said it would be done soon but wouldn't give me a specific date. I then waited and in June I called again and asked to speak to the owner. I got a Mr. Andy Arnold on the phone and complained that it was 6 + months that they had my vehicle and that I didn't want this to get ugly I just wanted the CPU system installed and for me to have my baby back. He told me that he didn't bake cakes and it would get done when it got done. This upset me and I said that I would get my attorney involved if he didn't do the job I requested. He then informed me that he found "NEW" things wrong with the car and that they fixed these issues. I DID NOT AUTHORIZE ANY WORK TO BE DONE ON THE CAR BESIDES THE NEW CPU SYSTEM. I told him to immediately halt what ever they were doing and to give me back my vehicle. He informed me my engine was at the machine shop and I would have to pay that bill also. I immediately contacted my attorney who they have avoided even to this day. I also contacted the Better Business Bureau and NJ's Consumer Fraud Dept. The BBB contacted them and they did not respond. The BBB dropped their rating immediately to a D. The NJ Consumer Fraud investigator tried multiple times to contact them and they ignored their phone calls and letters. The assistant director attempted to physically go to Jonathan Motors with still zero cooperation. My attorney finally got a hold of the owner and informed him just to give the vehicle back as they have no paperwork authorizing ANY work and the only work that I wanted them to do they refused because and this is VERBATIM from the owner "WE DON'T WORK WITH COSTUMERS THAT GET LAWYERS AND COMPLAIN. WE'RE NOT DOING THE CPU AND WE'RE CHARGING FOR EVERYTHING WE'VE DONE TO THE CAR AUTHORIZED OR NOT" She then read him the Consumer Fraud Act and he readily admitted he violated it but I'd have to take him to court. The police have been there twice to request the release of the vehicle and each time the officer's admit that they are violating Consumer Fraud but that it is a civil matter. They now have my car in the show room with the hood up and are attempting to lure customers in with my car as it is in show condition and are hinting selling it. I know they cannot sell it as it's my property but it's just added pain to the mental affliction they have already caused. Now there is a court order for them to release the car and we are suing them under the Fraud Act. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SUFFER FOR NINE MONTHS LIKE I HAVE WITH THIS DEALERSHIP DO NOT GO THERE!!!! THEY READILY ADMIT TO VIOLATING CONSUMER RIGHTS AND DARE YOU TO SUE THEM. MY CAR IS STILL BEING HELD HOSTAGE ALONG WITH THE 2,650.00 I GAVE THEM FOR A CPU SYSTEM THEY NEVER INSTALLED. THEY ARE ALSO SAYING I OWE THEM AN ADDITIONAL THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS BECAUSE THEY DID MYSTERY REPAIRS. I'm attaching the NJ Consumer Fraud Act so everyone is aware. Remember this dealership PROVIDED ZERO INVOICES AND DIDN"T GET MY AUTHORIZATION IT'S A CLEAR CUT CASE OF FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot SCREAM BUYER BEWARE LOUD ENOUGH!! Please read the law below-- New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs Regulations (N.J.A.C 13:45A-1 et seq.)section 26C.2 "Deceptive practices; automotive repairs" it says (skipping excess verbiage in order to get to the point):...the following acts or omissions shall be deceptive practices in the conduct of... an automotive repair...:Commencing work for compensation without securing one of the following... Specific written authorization from the customer, signed by the customer, which states the nature of the repair requested or problem presented...Commencing work for compensation without... Providing the customer with a written estimated price to complete the repair...Charging the customer for work done or parts supplied in excess of any estimated price given, without... consent of the customer, which shall be obtained... before the work... is done... If such consent is oral, the dealer shall make a notation on the repair order and on the invoice of the date, time, name of person authorizing the additional repairs and the telephone number called, if any, together with a specification of the additional parts and labor and the total additional cost.
"^ Unfortunately, this is not directly correlated with us here at Jonathan Motorcars. We had a service bay being used for high-performance modifications by a 3rd party, and there seems to have been a misunderstanding between that customer and that party. We hope that this does not continue to haunt us. This mentioned vehicle was never touched by Jonathan Motorcars, and this (removed member name) individual was not a customer of ours. We have already contacted this person in regards to their comments on this and other websites."
