Avalon Flooring was founded in 1963 by John Millar, when he opened a single store in Avalon, New Jersey. Over the past 50 years the company has grown to 14 locations throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, and it’s now the seventh largest floor-covering retailer in the nation.

Avalon have been very knowledgeable and very helpful. This is a work in progress. Half of the carpeting has been done. They have built in place a tiled shower. The other bathroom is getting a jacuzzi. They have been out to do site measurements and discuss various possibilities. Avalon are very supportive.

We refinanced and got 4.5% back. We were able to do the kitchen with the extra savings we received. It was way more than we thought we would pay. Mary Ellen was our Sales Rep and Steve Sullivan was the regional manager. They were 2 of the best people I have ever worked with. They were incredibly kind, professional and patient. They were very accommodating with all of our questions and changes. I can't say enough good about them. They were very good.
