"I'm very sorry for this customer to feel this way he just forgot to say what was the problem that my first cousin died this week with his battle with cancer and I explained this to them the rough plumbing just was completed but the town inspector wanted some minor changes so I guess the customer feels that a death is not a reason not to come to work for 2 weeks and he was a big part of my life no compassion or understanding at all so I guess I'm wrong for this"
"The Water Heater was installed perfect but the customers chimney had a back draft due to a faulty chimney we advised them to call a chimney professional we tried to help but we are plumbers not chimney installers we feel very bad for the customer I know how it must feel to be in there shoes the chimney was filled with Dubree if we could have done this for them I guess the customer would have been ok with us we did bring this up to customer bescuase we know how this is very dangerous but know we have a customer that has to put blame on us when it was his chimney with the problem we very wanted to help but there was nothing we could do but tell them to call a chimney company"
My experience was horrible. The installers were supposed to come on Tuesday. I took the morning off work, only t get a call about 8:30 saying the plumber was sick and the install would have to be put off the next day. I agreed to allow the helper to disconnect and remove the old heater and the owner assured me that he would have a crew on site at 8:00am the next day. I got home that evening and nothing was done. The old water heater was still in place and connected. I called the owner, Steve and told him what happened and yet he insisted the heater was removed. Took another day off of work and at about 8:30 got a call from the installers noting that they would be there between 11 and 1pm. I was fuming and told them so. They hung up on me. I proceeded to call the main number for the business. I called over 20 times and got no response even to the messages I left. Finally the installers showed up at 1:20, 20 minutes later than the worst case arrival time. They completed the job in about 4 hours. They were not able to remove the old heater at that time and committed to coming back the next afternoon to remove the heater. They were a no show and no calls. My wife had waited for them all afternoon. On top of that I lost 10 hours of work which I will not be reimbursed for. I took the desperate measure of canceling the check I gave them. We heard nothing from anyone at the business and I finally decided to email them on Tuesday. Wouldn't you know it, I got a call shortly thereafter from Steve, the owner. He noted he just found out 6 days later that the installers did not remove the old water heater, He was also complaining about the $30 fee he incurred when I canceled the check. I had to take another 2 hours off work for them to come on Thursday to remove the heater, a full week later to take out the old heater. When I told the owner, who was also there, I would not reimburse the $30 he huffed out of my home saying I hope the heater fails on you soon because I won't fix it and then left with saying F-you to me. You may have a different experience from mine but I would urge you to have a contract in your hands ahead of time from them with all the details on the work to be performed. Make sure you get the building permit form from them completed and ready before you provide them final payment. Good Luck.....
"This job was an oil fired special order heater it weighted about 800 pounds needed 4 guys to remove it from the basement I had to personally go there to get it out of basement customer watched us remove it besides from that I really don't know where all this begitive talk came from I guess it's easier to vent on here and slander someone's name when we had to brack our backs to get this special oil burner heater that was very large and heavy done in very sorry for the customer not understanding"
