"[member name removed] this is the abuse companies have to take because of Angie's list ! Affordable Air arrived @ [member name removed] His system was completed dead ! [member name removed] Was given a complete diagnosis ! [member name removed] Thermostat is shared with a separate heating unit ! His plumber hooked the thermostat wrong ! taking out his A/C unit with a power surge! Also he needed refrigerant ! A reminder he approved the estimate in writing ! this repair was 5/13/13 last year ! this is the first time Affordable Air is hearing of this ! Affordable Air GUARANTEES ALL WORK !"

Central AC stopped working during very hot period. Was a weekend so not optimistic of getting a repair. Called and spoke with company, within several hours service call was made, relay replaced, and unit was tested.

The owner seemed to be very qualified and professional. So far we have nothing to complain about, where as we have had nothing but complaints about othe companies we worked with there. This is for our rental home in New Hampshire, and we live in Connecticut. I am working with him from afar. It is so recent that things could change. At this point it seems to be his qualifications and professionalism that would give him the highest ratings.

I thought the price was outrageous. He blamed the price on travel charges.

"IN REVIEWING THE BILL THAT THIS CUSTOMER RECEIVED WE DO NOT SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. THE CUSTOMER HAD WATER IN HIS BASEMENT BECAUSE THE SYSTEM WAS NOT PROPERLY MAINTAINED. WE CLEANED OUT THE DRAIN AND THE FILTER WAS CHANGED. THE CUSTOMER WAS GIVEN A WRITTEN ESTIMATE WHICH HE SIGNED GIVING US PERMISSION TO COMPLETE THE REPAIR WHICH WAS IN ACCORDANCE WITH NJ CONSUMER LAWS. HE ACCEPTED THE ESTIMATE AND THE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED. HE SIGNED OFF ON THE COMPLETED REPAIR AND THE TOTAL COST OF THE REPAIR WAS $204.95 PLUS SALES TAX. HE ALSO COMPLAINED TO THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY CONSUMER AFFAIRS WHO SAW NO BASIS FOR THIS COMPLAINT AND DISMISSED IT."
