Stardust Pools

Buyer beware: shoddy workmanship, nonexistent customer service Save your money and go somewhere else. We have had nothing but headaches since Stardust Pools completed our in-ground pool in Spring 2021. We had a leak in the first year they said was “normal” (untrue) and they failed to successfully address it. They left it uncovered, without connecting the filtration system, causing filthy water to sit for months, which left permanent stains in the liner and stairs, which they have not remedied. We asked them to come back the following year after we noticed the leak was not fixed, which also subsequently caused the liner to detach from the concrete wall. They also attempted to convince us this was “normal,” but the pool kept losing water after it was refilled. The owner, Walter, said he fixed it, but that was not the case. Sure enough, the problem emerged again this year, and the effect was worse. Water had entered the space between the liner and the concrete wall, causing the liner to detach from the top and bulge inward from the sides. Walter again dismissed our concerns, saying this was “normal,” and he encouraged us to refill the pool yet again. The water kept leaking at a rate of an inch a day. He sent workers to our home, and they cut the inlet pipe to the heater (which was also leaking for the second time), detached the pool light, and have left it like this for weeks. As a result, there is no longer any filtration in the pool. The water has turned green and we will — yet again, at our expense — need to treat it with chemicals. Walter does not respond to our messages or phone calls. We have photos, emails and text messages from the inception to document our attempts to remedy the issue, to no avail. I leave this review reluctantly, but I don’t want other people to have the same experience. Shame on us for giving Walter the benefit of the doubt for this long. This was a significant investment that we made and we have been unable to enjoy it since we’ve had it. Don’t waste your money with Stardust Pools.

Experienced and Thorough! We put our faith in Stardust's 60 yrs experience in the pool industry and Walter and his team delivered excellent service start to finish on installing our inground pool. Adding a pool to a property transforms it to a destination for family and friends for great memories! Thank you Stardust!

My father has been using this company since I was born in the 90s. We have the oldest and deepest non liner pool in our town and they have been selling us chemicals and products for decades. The two guys they had come out today were so kind and knowledgeable and worked well with my father who is a Vietnam vet to sort through the problems we had after a late opening of our pool this year. . 30 years these guys have come to my parents house and always solved any issues day one. Plan to come back every year till we leave this state and will tell whoever take this house to go to them.

It was easy to set an appointment and they were flexible with my changing schedule. They came early and completed the closing efficiently which values my time. I received the price which was what was quoted over the phone, they did not try to offer me anything else although I know the liner will need replacement next season. Not pushy, professional and courteus service, what more can we ask for?

They came in and I don't think they did any work. I don't know even know if they really showed up because they did it on a day when I was not at home. They claimed that we had a leaky pool which we don't and they also claimed that we had a leaky line. We had another company come out and they told us that with no water in the pool they could have not tested the things they said they tested. I just think we got completely ripped by them. I called to complain and they told use we needed a big list of things like a completely new pool liner. They wanted to come and do that first for us and that would have cost us $1000. They gave us ridiculous quotes for things that we didn't need and so I got a second opinion. There was not a surprise that Stardust was deceptive. They were not fully honest. I did not feel like they were very knowledgeable and personable. They did not treat me right and like someone who was important to them.
