I had a new roof/soffits/fascia/gutters/down spouts/gutter toppers put on my house in March/April 2018. From the start, Mark was courteous and professional from his first visit to inspect and write up a quote for me. He spent a good amount of time with me explaining options as I was handling this myself and I have no roof experience. I even called him (quite a few times) to discuss things with him and he always got back to me and helped me make decisions. It was determined that I needed to add two attic exhaust fans to help with the build up of heat/humidity in the attic along with the new roof. Once I decided on everything I wanted, Mark wrote up a quote for me and hand delivered it and went over everything on the quote. He kept in touch with me as I agreed to use him in November of 2017 but the weather was not cooperating. In the Spring of 2018 he called as soon as the last snowfall was done and said they would begin my project and let me know his crew would be delivering some of the items for the new roof. I wasn't home and was pleasantly surprised when I got home, they meticulously placed all the items in a very neat pile on the side of the driveway, not hurting my plants and leaving me more than enough room to get in my car in the garage. His crew were on time every morning and worked diligently and cleaned up every night before they left. They answered any questions I had and explained what was going on during the whole process. I ended up using a different company to put on the gutters/downspouts/gutter toppers only because the specific gutter toppers I wanted were only offered by this specific company. Mark was not put off when I asked him if it would be okay to have them do the gutters/downspouts because I knew they would have to pitch them in order for it all to work correctly. He just adjusted the pricing and we continued to move forward with the job. The roof/soffits/fascia look amazing and everything was done with skillful precision. I was so happy with Miraglia Contractors it's a shame I don't need more work done!! If you are considering getting a new roof or need roof repair or fans added, etc, please give Mark Miraglia a call. He and his crew will not disappoint. What a great business! The only problem you might have is getting on the work schedule, but it's worth the wait. ;-) Oh and his pricing is right on point.

Being an engineer, I research everything as much as I possibly can. Therefore, before I started calling around to replace the roof, in order to solve a problem with white mold starting to form, I knew it was best to add ridge vents and add lower roof intake vents (aka smartvent) to the lower portion of the roof (especially considering that large section of roof did not have the overhang to accommodate soffits). There were several roofers that have never heard of such a product and proposed no solution, and others who proposed making larger soffit holes in the section of roof that clearly would not (fully) address the problem. However, when I spoke with Mark (the owner of Miraglia Contractors), he immediately understood the issues and impressed me with his knowledge of all the previous roofing issues. (You would think a roofer would not impress a person about their roofing knowledge, but you'd be surprised!). After signing the contract, there was a little bit of a wait to have the work done, but that was okay since we weren't in any rush. When his team came, they did a great job. Mark wasn't there for the actual work, but he didn't need to be because his team knew exactly what to do and did a great job. Now here is where Mark's trustworthiness comes in: Some roofing debris went down a kitchen exhaust pipe. After removing the shingles and nails from the kitchen fan, Mark was okay with me holding on to some cash to replace it until he had a person come to clean the remainder of the debris that I couldn't reach, and until it was determined that the problems were not directly related by the debris. This tells you right away that Mark is not a fly-by-night person and is very trustworthy. Mark also stands by the work done. It's been roughly 1 year since the job was completed (I usually wait 1 year to start writing the initial reviews after any major work is completed). There have been no leaks, and everything has been holding up well. However, we've recently noticed in one room that we don't often use, that rain has been dripping onto the outer-sill of one of the windows, in the same place each time. When I left a message for Mark, roughly 1 year after his team's work was completed, he got back to me the next day to tell us he'll be right over to fix it. So he certainly stands by his work and ensures his customers are very happy with the work his team does. Not only am I recommending Miraglia Contractors on this web site and other web sites, but I will personally give my recommendation for him when it's time to recommend him to family within the coming year.

They did a great job.  Came when they said they would, cleaned up each night.  They worked very quickly and professionally.  If there were addition issues that came up such as the need to replace the plywood we were told quickly and it was explained thoroughly.

Mr. Miraglia and his workers arrived on time and worked steadily through out the day. The replacement roof was installed, as far as I can tell, perfectly. He took the time to explain the different roofs and what he preferred and why. He, however, never tried to make me choose one over the other. He just gave me the information and let me decide. At the end of each workday he and his workers cleaned up every scrap going carefully over the driveway to make sure there were no nails or other sharp objects that we might walk on or drive over. It was one of the best construction experiences I have had. I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Miraglia

Absolutely no problems - they did an excellent job.

Mark is true professional and makes sure the job is done right the first time. He is honest, and his price is always fair. He has been in business for many years so he has much work, but will do an excellent job for a fair price. Will use him an refer him to friends and family.

The workers were all extremely professional and polite. They started the job early and did an excellent gob. Removed some of the siding to ensure all water channels were properly sealed. They even repaired a soffet that birds made their way into and reconnected a downspout of a gutter. Price was very fair and it was apparent the workers had pride in their workmanship. Dealing with the proprietor, Mark Miraglia, was a pleasant experience as he is extremely knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly and was very responsive. I would recommend this contractor!

The workers were very punctual and hard-working. We are very happy with the results. We feel prepared should we have bad weather. The contractor went beyond some of the things quoted. We had obtained other estimates, and Miraglia's price was very good.

It went well and they were professional.

Company on time arrival was worked all day.  Crew very professional and polite.  Protected house with plywood and tarps to prevent damage from old shingles.

Mark is responsible guy who gives you the straight story. Explained in detail what was needed and provided valuable pros and cons on the material used. Stripped 2 roofs off structure and replaced worn and defective sheathing.  Removed and installed all skylights.  Installed a 50 yr Roof.

Lost several shingles and wood was exposed on roof due to hurrican Sandy. Called Miraglia on 11/3 and Mark was able to come over the same day. He was very thorough in explaining the type of materials and their quality that he would use.  We found him very knowledgeable and professional. With the Nor'eastern storm due to arrive in a couple of days Mark arranged for the materials to be delivered to our house on 11/5. The roof was then installed on 11/6 and the Nor'eastern hit on 11/7. Phew... Mark did agree that if he could not get the job done by 11/7, he would have tarped our roof before the storm, which helped us feel comfortable.  The workers arrived on time and as my husband said "busted their butts" to get the job done. They were friendly and professional. We did need to  replaced some of the wood due to cracks/broken and just being old (house built in 1962). This was an extra cost of $247.00 and we were fine with that. The shingles and new ridge vent look great. I would recommed them.

Marc Miraglia and his crew did a great job at our house. We needed someone who was willing (and able) to correct a host of old problems like missing flashing and stepflashing, exposed rakes and fascia boards (creating a haven for carpenter bees), leakage between house/sun room. In addition, we needed to replace a leaking skylight which lacked proper framing. Marc recommended a carpenter (Fred Tornabene, Timbercraft Construction) to re frame the skylight and install a new skylight tunnel and ceiling, since the old ceiling had water-damage. Marc and the carpenter coordinated their work very efficiently. Marc was always approachable and willing to discuss how to proceed on problematic areas on the project. Marc and his crew exhibited a great work ethic and resolved all (existing) problems to my full satisfaction. Clean-up was done daily and my yard emerged unscathed.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH MY ROOF. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL IN THEIR WORK AND DID A GOOD JOB CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES.

THEY WERE REASONABLY PRICED. THEY WERE ALSO VERY PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL IN ALL OF THEIR WORK. I AM VERY HAPPY AND SATISFIED WITH THE JOB THAT THEY DID. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
