Jeff did awesome work. He is punctual, his workmanship is excellent. The attention to detail is exemplary.

Jeff was very likable but the quality of his work was low and the price high. Did very little prep work (sanding/patching) before painting and it looked bad when complete. I hired another painter to redo his work and my first floor painting and the difference was significant. below pics are the white closet wall that he painted and the blue closet wall done by the other painter. To be fair the molding work that Jeff did was good.

Jeff did a great job. I'm very pleased with the work he did. He's knowledgable, hard worker and very friendly.

He was everything I expected in a contractor and more. He completed everything he said he would, arrived on time, completed high quality work, professional throughout all our interactions, and was very personable as well. He was an exceptional individual to have in my home. Even though there was more work added to the initial tasks we agreed upon, he still managed to get all the work done in the timeline he quoted me. He was extremely trustworthy and I was comfortable having him in my home without me present. He left my house the way he found it and cleaned up all of his stuff and trash. I can't say enough about him and his work! He is very skilled.

Jeff (owner/operator) immediately got back to me after I left my initial voicemail and we setup an appointment for an estimate. Jeff worked around my schedule and arrived exactly when he said he would. After receiving his estimate which I believe was fair for the work he would do, he was able to fit me in after a previous job was canceled. Jeff again showed up exactly when he said he would and started the 3-day project which included repairing a large crack in the peak of our vaulted kitchen ceiling and another large vertical crack in our living room as well as painting the kitchen and kitchen ceiling and living room. When I asked him to touch up an area i wanted he did so without hesitation. His work lived up to the previous reviews on Angie’s List and he is a true professional. Jeff completed the job in the time he said and at the price he said. I would highly recommend JMK Painting for future projects.

The contractor was very nice and punctual. He completed the work on schedule and was very easy to work with. He suggested some minor lighting improvements in the kitchen which was very welcome; he was able to perform these improvements for a minimal charge. We would definitely hire him again for work and highly recommend him to others.

The purpose was to prepare the house for sale. So far, after two days in the market, we've gotten an offer, because the house is in move-in condition. The work was done on time in the house was left looking very neat. Jeff was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and he gave us good advice. I felt like he treated us like family.

From start to finish, a very good experience. I emailed Jeff on Angie's List and he called me almost immediately. A few days later, he came over to give me an estimate and I hired him. I had several large areas that needed to be painted as well as some small areas. He texted me to tell me he was running a little late on the day he was scheduled to do the job, which so many contractors don't bother to do. He was professional, polite, and cleaned up when he finished. I already had most of the paint. In one room, for some reason, the paint did not match, even though it was the paint that had originally been used. Jeff picked up a quart and came back a couple of days later to finish the job. I highly recommend him and would use him again.

He was friendly, punctual, worked through a small snowstorm and got all of the work we needed done. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a painter.

JMK Painting did a very professional job. He was neat and clean. I trusted that he knew exactly the type of paint to use. He chose 1 primer (Stix) for adhesion to tough surfaces, a second primer to hide the sheen from Stix, and then a flat paint. He advised that I sand the carbon fiber before he started the job. I did so before he arrived. (I chose not to include the sanding in the job.)

Jeff was great, he really believes in providing a quality job and it's reflected in his work.  Scheduling was seamless and he was willing to work around our move-in schedule, as well as around the other contractors doing work in the house (electrician and having wood floors re-finished).  We purchased the paint ourselves, but i believe he would have purchased for us, at cost, if we had asked.  Communication was great throughout the process and was right on schedule.  We'd absolutely use Jeff again for any of our painting and trim needs.

I fired him after 2 days.  He had paint on my floors, rugs, and splatters on my tv stand.  The sink he washed the rollers in and the wall behind it was covered in paint,  (which he never cleaned up after himself).  He quoted me a price for the hallway.

 I picked a paint that turned out to be all wrong (my fault).  He sent ME out to buy the color I wanted, charged me another amount to repaint it, then proceeded to paint 3 coats to cover the walls

and frames.  After 3 coats, he still missed spots on the frames.  I saw the base paint coming through in streaks.  The room he

did complete prior to that...the border color leaked over the walls.  I asked him to use painters tape and he said he doesn't 

need or use it because he has a steady hand.  Needless to say, I fired him and am now awaiting another painter to come in

to correct and complete the work.

Jeff/JMK Painting completed a substantial amount of work at my home including re-painting of all 3 levels of the home (patching, re-finishing, painting of walls and trims, updating registers and light switches), installation of medicine chests/cabinets/fixtures in 3 bathrooms, re-finishing  and painting of several doors and closet doors, re-surfacing and re-painting of an entry door and a walk-out basement door, disposal of old window treatments, repair of a basement wall leak, installation of an attic ladder, and several other miscellaneous items.
I am extremely happy with Jeff's work, and highly recommend him for all your painting, re-modeling and general repair needs.
