I have used that company for 30 years and will continue to use them. Any time I have a plumbing problem they automatically get the call, and will continue to do so. They've done everything. I had a pipe break at eleven thirty at night and I was getting water in my basement. They came out that night. They were at my house by midnight and they fixed the pipe that night. Every plumbing job I do, they do. Their service stands out to me. They are always there for you.

The two gentlemen who came to our house were very courteous and professional. When asked to provide an estimate on a project we are considering I did not feel pressured into committing to anything at that moment in time. We will be calling them again in the future for plumbing needs

Contacted Frank Alvarez & Sons after being highly recommended by a previous contractor used. They were able to come out same day when I called regarding backed up sewage pit in basement as well as a completely clogged sink(not related to sewage pit). When the representative arrived, he was able to diagnose the issue within 15 minutes and since it was not complex he did not charge for that portion. The clogged sink turned out to be a bigger issue and was clogged about 10 feet away from the sink through multiple elbows and splits. He was able to resolve and the drain works better than it has since we bought the house. He also cleaned up the area after completing the job which is very important to me. I will definitely use the service if the need arises, hopefully no time soon though.

These were non-emergency plumbing jobs because we have stopped the leaks with tape and by leaving the valve turned off. Alvarez sent a technician out less than 24 hours after we called, and he came within a small window of time. The job was completed quickly and cleanly.

The plumber came on time about 90 minutes after I called. I called about 6 other plumbers from the list and none called me back. Alvarez & sons has a receptionist who answered the phone, was polite and courteous and said that she could have someone there after he finished a job in a good hour. The plumber arrived and went to work to figure out where the water leak came from. He ran the water in the tub, shower, and used a camera to look for leaks while the shower was running. He also checked the toilet for leaks. He verified that all the plumbing connections were ok. He spent considerable time double checking each and every possible way a water leak can happen. The bottom line is that no leak was found. Two possible causes:1 - shower curtain was not pulled all the way to the wall and water hit the floor2 - caulking and grout needs to be redone on the time and around the tub as there are openings where the water can get behind.Both reasons are acceptable; but number 1 is the most probable reason as this happened once before years earlier.

It went well.  The plumber was quick and I was able to pay for the services over the phone to his office.  I do feel that $160 to unclog a drain is a little to much.

The plumber was prompt however I thought the service was very expensive and the original quote was off by a few hundred dollars.

He did a very good job. He came and took care of it in about half an hour. The charge was about the same as other plumbers. I had inquired with two or three other plumbers. He did a very fast job and I was very pleased with his work. He came the following morning after I called him.

The drain cover of our garbage disposal unit had become stuck in the engaged position and wouldn't budge. We called Frank Alvarez and they came the same day in the afternoon. Within 10 minutes they had dislodged the drain cover. They were prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. We appreciated that they did not charge us for unnecessary work.

THEY WERE A VERY GOOD COMPANY TO WORK WITH. I THOUGHT THEY DID A REALLY EXCELLENT JOB IN THE BATHROOM. IT LOOKS GREAT. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE PLUMBING SINCE THEY FINISHED.

THEY WERE EXCELLENT. THEY USED TARP THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE BECAUSE IT WAS RAINING, SO THEY WERE VERY RESPECTFUL. WHEN I CALLED FOR AN APPOINTMENT I GOT ONE RIGHT AWAY. THEY WERE ON TIME AND REASONABLY PRICED.

THEY ARE VERY TRUSTWORTHY AND RELIABLE. ALL OF THE WORKERS THAT HAVE CAME TO MY HOUSE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I DO THINK THEY ARE EXPENSIVE THOUGH, BUT THEY DO WONDERFUL WORK.

I HAD AN EMERGENCY AND THEY CAME RIGHT AWAY AND DID WHAT THEY HAD TO DO TO FIX EVERYTHING. THEY WERE VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY EVEN CLEANED UP THE MESS THAT THE LEAK HAD MADE. I DID THINK THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH, BUT IT WASN'T TOO BAD.
