AMS is our HERO. The city sewer backed up and filled one third of our basement just before kickoff on Super Bowl Sunday. By halftime George had arrived. He calmly assessed the situation, and set up a time to return the following morning. His workers were polite, professional, and meticulous, and did an unbelievable job of cleaning up a horrible mess. By the end of the day the damaged items, sewage , and much of the smell was gone. Huge fans and a germ-killing ionizer ran for three days. When they were finished the floor was bone dry and absolutely clean. It occurred to us that the floor could not have been better cleaned if it were being prepped for painting. So we will be doing so. Even though this was a very stressful situation due to location allowing this to happen a second time and only willing to throw my belongings out, the owner and workers of AMS were very kind and compassionate and were able to salvage a good portion of my property and deliver to my home after cleaning up of exteriors of plastic containers contained in my storage center. I would use and recommend them again immediately.

George was the ultimate professional. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. We were very satisfied and would hire him again.

I've used George and the AMS team twice now in a jam. In early 2020, we were finishing up a remodel and after closing off a skylight the contractor went to repaint they found mold. George came the next day to give me a quote and got started on the work quickly. Just last Friday, when we had heavy rain, we had water enter our basement. I called George and he came the next day to give me a quote for the work. He had the crew there first thing Monday to get started. In both cases the crew was great. George is highly responsive and makes sure the job gets done right. He also was very honest and told me things that didn't need to be done, which i really appreciated. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my mold or water damage remediation.

We first used AMS Restorations/American Mold Solutions 2 years ago when we bought a house and found mold in a few places. They were always efficient and did a good job. We needed some special accommodations made due to our health issues, and they were happy to work with us to accommodate. Our contractor, who is always picky about the quality of work done by others, was enthusiastic about the work they did. Last month, we had to have them back to deal with a new problem, and they were just as professional as before.

I called George for a quote ,and he came to give a quote the same day. George ,and his team did an excellent job remediating the mold in my basement. The workers were courteous, professional, and hard working. George said that they would begin on a Tuesday ,and be done by Friday ,and thats exactly how it went. In addition to remediating the mold, they removed the ceiling sheetrock in 3 rooms. The cleanup and removal of the sheetrock was seemless. George worked hand in hand with my insurance company , and we were able to get reimbursed for the whole project. Exactly as quoted. Basement is dry and ready to be repaired. The workers were friendly and professional. They always explained each part of the process and welcomed any questions on our part. I was most impressed with their offer to begin work almost immediately, compared to a competitor (we were quoted 1-3 days).

So far wonderfully they have removed all mold (which had progressed through the ceiling and behind built in bookcases) and the treatment process is complete. They will now help us to refinish the basement.

George and his crew did work to remediate mold in my walk out basement. The job took four days. They left my house so neat and clean. George answers and returns all of your calls. He is truly a professional. I would highly recommend him and his crew.

We purchased a townhome in an area of the country where sump pumps for basements are a necessity. Because of failing gutters and moister up against the outer basement wall, a serious mold situation had developed behind the drywall in the finished basement. After replacing the gutters. We needed a skilled professional who could size up the situation and get to it asap. Before they started AMS was kind enough to supply us with a negative air fan to keep the mold spores from getting into the rest of the house. With precision, diligence and focus AMS spent three days cleaning the mold from the outer wall of our basement. I would recommend them highly.

We had a laundry pump break that, combined with a crack in the concrete floor, had created mold in the finished basement. This situation was complicated by the fragile health of a family member who was suffering with an acute respiratory condition, a problem which could have become much worse if the mold was allowed to migrate upstairs. American Mold Solutions was contracted to handle the job based on George's impressive understanding of the work as well as the physical needs and concerns of the family. As the work progressed, it became evident that, in addition to mold remediation, he was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of home repair and construction and, if he didn't feel completely expert in any one skill, had no trouble finding the perfect person for the job. When something went very wrong (a corroded hot water pipe burst,) George came, handled it with ease and quickly got the best plumber he knew to make the repair. Throughout the course of the job, the value I placed in his opinion continued to increase, as did my gratitude. I know of few people I feel worthy of admiration, respect and trust. George is easily deserving of all three.

They are fantastic. They are courteous and confident. They were very professional. They answered all of our questions. The system that they had for cleaning was very organized.

Company performed the work as described in the estimate with company owner who was very informative and receptive to answer all our questions. No pressure to make a decision. They did great work.

The minute George walked in our home and spoke with us we knew he was the one we wanted to do the work.  We had interviewed another company but the "sales pitch" didn't come off as genuine.  George met us on Friday, listened to our concerns about the mold and our two daughters with asthma, and promised to return the following day which was a Saturday, to begin the work.  We were impressed that he was able to come right out, which saved us from having to take off two days of work.  
His team was thorough, respectful, and careful not to damage anything in our house with the large equipment they brought in.  
The work took two days initially and then the scrubbers ran for a week.  Then they returned to seal the area with a mold deterrent.  
George was easy to reach by phone and text and was excellent in helping us deal with the insurance adjuster, submitted paperwork right when we needed it, and helped moved the process along for us.  
We were completely comfortable with George and his team in our home.  He is a true professional, who was honest and treated our home as if it were his own.  We highly recommend him and will not hesitate to contact him in the future.

The work was done thoroughly and clean up was good. I was very happy with the provider and although I hope to never need mold remediation again, I will call them if I do.

We found out in the middle of the day that our water heater has caused flooding in the lower level. While the flooding was only 1 to 2 inches, we were really afraid that things wont dry out properly and it will cause mold in the property. I looked up on Angies List and selected George's company after reading the reviews. I called George and while he was away from the region, he managed to get one of his workers to our place within a few hours. Starting next day, George came out to our property with his worker and measured the water levels using his tools and then directed the worker to start working on the remediation. They finished the job in about 2-3 days. I was very satisfied with the level of their professionalism and would highly recommend this company to any one interested in quality water remediation.
Some of the things that I loved while dealing with George include:
-- He was always available via phone and answered questions with patience (and I can ask a lot of questions).
-- He told me that he would deal with the insurance company directly. I talked to my insurance people and they have told me that Geroge is in contact with them. However, because of this, I have no idea of the final cost of the service.
-- George's worker was very professional and hard working. He did his job really well, collected all the garbage and thoroughly cleaned the area.

George was very friendly on the phone and was available to make the service call within days. He met with my husband and was very friendly at the time of the appointment. He told my husband that he immediately saw mold and that we would probably fail the test. We were told we would have the results by Thursday. I had to call to get the results, which I was told were emailed to his office. He told me once he got back to his office he would email the results over. Later that evening he called my husband with the result of the air tests, telling him there were multiple types of mold found and said he would email them over. He never emailed the results over. While George was very friendly and curteous, I would not use his company again. When work is paid for I feel that it should be completed properly, I also feel that he was trying to take advantage of us. We paid for work that was not completed properly in my opinion.
