The work is good because of his workers. Dealing with Nick was not smooth - he went back on several things he had said, then said, it's not in the contract. He said the price included under cabinet lights, even wrote down where we wanted them placed. When we asked how come they were not installed, he said it was not in the contract (yet all "custom" parts of cabinets were not, such as spice rack, drawers, etc). We didn't negotiate the price, and he said, well, that was before we tried to get the price down. He told us in June that he ordered a small cabinet that we added later on in the design. In September, I called and he said he'd look into it. Then he said the company was no longer making smaller cabinets, which I found strange since the company had provided a quote. When I called the company, they said he never placed the order, leaving me with a hole in the wall all these months, and now he refuses to finish it. His primary workers, Ralph and Mike were wonderful (I wish they were in business for themselves, they were nice to deal with), talented carpenters. The marble company he used was terrible, doing damage to my garage, light and stairwell--Nick was not on site to see that the installation was done properly, the installers left broken glass on the staircase. Nick did make good on it, although he was not happy about it (I think the stunt with not ordering the cabinet was his revenge). He makes money every step of the way, and was not truthful about the cost of the granite counters -- he charged us extra, after telling us the cost was the same as quartz. Then he said, well that was for a thinner piece of granite, which most places don't carry, or can only be used in vanities. If I dealt with the granite place directly, I would have paid half as much. Again, his workers are very professional, Nick is not. Very disappointed in how he conducted business, and his leaving unfinished work at our home.

I could not have been more pleased. They were on time, if not delivering certain items ahead of time. The sub contractors were excellent, the referrals for appliances were fabulous, the workers were spotless. I came into the house the day they were supposed to gut the kitchen and it was so clean, that I assumed they were unable to start. To my shock, the entire kitchen was gutted and there was not dust or debris! When a door front that I wanted was not available, Nick went out of his way to find the door front, rather than supplying my second choice. Nick was courteous, supportive when I had questions or qualms, made wonderful suggestions, the workers were so nice they even called us when they thought our dog was ill and offered to take her to our vet. I can not praise Nick and his workers enough!

Everything turned out fantastic. I have to say that Nick's did an incredible job with everything. I wanted to hire them to do my bathroom, but, unfortunately they do not do bathrooms. The price was good to. The total price did not include the appliance purchases.

Fabulously. We read that a kitchen remodel is very stressful. In fact, it was a breeze, due to Nick's professionalism and that of his workers. The first day of scheduled work, I thought they had not come, since the place was spotless. I found the kitchen had been gutted, no dust or debris left. 2 designs were offered, based on our use of the kitchen. Recommendations made for places to purchase appliances were excellent. Nick is very avuncular. When I was stymied by hardware & tile choices, he was very helpful, especially when I met resistance from the tiler. I came home one day & was not thrilled with one cabinet door. Before I could get my coat off, he called to say he had already ordered a replacement. When I wanted a cabinet door that was no longer made, he went out of his way to find exactly what I wanted. I am remodeling other parts of my home & begged him to do the rest of the house but he won't, unfortunately. When a problem arose months later, he responded immediately.
