I’ve been going to Dumont Animal Hospital for 5 years. The entire staff is extremely professional. Every vet there is exceptional. I would highly recommend them!

We found his price to be more reasonable. They can always find room if you have an emergency.

We love them there, they are really good. We have used them for over 10 years.

He had one shot and we took him the next day for another one. They kept him all day to check for any reactions. They are pretty reasonably priced and we have no complaints.

We have a new dog, and so we just started using them. We were so impressed. After we had her spayed, we asked the vet about training, and he recommended the training facility. The vet spent time with us. He spent time with us, we didn't feel rushed. He was terrific. He wasn't trying to sell us anything. He is an easy going, honest and good guy. It wasn't expensive. We used Friend's of Animals, so it wasn't hugely expensive to get our dog spayed.

Excellent! They really went above and beyond the call of duty. The dog was really scared and they were able to work with him, even as we were going through Hurricane Sandy.

the front desk was very accommodating even though we showed up 20 minutes late for the 10 am. appointment due to the rain, traffic, and our uncooperative dog. after filling out the appropriate paperwork, they checked with our regular vet's office to make sure the shots were up to date. we would have brought the paperwork if someone would have told us to bring them when we made the appointment a week earlier.
we went into an exam room to meet Dr. Diggle. he was very calm and reassuring despite our skittish pooch. he went over the procedure and the estimated cost which is very reasonable....much less than our regular vet. he told us we would be able to pick him up late afternoon to early evening.
we picked him up about 6-6:30. the evening shift front desk took care of the payment and post-op instructions. she had a little trouble putting on the harness which is not an easy task to perfect with an excited wiggling doggie. she gave us a post-op print out and go over the info. again. our dog seems ok....just a bit groggy on the ride home but appear to be recovering fine. he did have a damp fur area near his hind leg. perhaps from peeing himself while in the recovery area? he ate, drank, and pee'd within hours of being home.
overall -very satisfied with the whole experience.

I had built trust with this vet over a few years with my 3 cats and 1 dog. Seemed decent other than the fact that the place was always crowded and appts were never seen on time. Staff was always young people with very little experience. I have worked for vets over many years so I am qualified to say this. For example, once my dog ingested poison and when I called Diggle's office with this emergency I was put on hold. You don't do that to people. Then I was told they were too busy to see my dog. What??? I called my old boss and he instructed me how to induce vomiting which saved my dog's life. I could only hope this was not indicative of the doctor's practices, just a poorly trained receptionist. Regarding my cat, I brought her in to be euthanized. Diggle convinced me to have him perform a chest tap and I felt desperate to try to save my cat because we didn't really know what the problem was, but she was very ill. I feel that he took advantage of my feelings for my cat. It ended up causing her more pain and I have guilt over this. It ended up being most likely cancer (nothing a chest tap would help) and she died painfully at home. I can not forgive Diggle for this.

Dr. Diggle seemed to do a thorough job and answered all our questions. He called us personally to give us test results and also called us personally to answer questions about our puppy's reaction to some drugs he prescribed.

This service is prompt and the veterinarians are very concerned. They take the best care for the pet. Their prices are reasonable and they try hard to satisfy the needs of the pet. The wait time is minimal and I don't think I have waited any longer than 15 minutes. They are very good at telling you when your pet needs different shots. They took stool samples of my dog which was $18 and the visit was $39. They also clipped the toenails and inspected the pets for any kind of flees or things like that. They weighed the dog and looked into the eyes and the ears and performed a thorough well visit.

I love Dumont Animal Hospital. I usually see Dr. Diggle and he is great with the dogs. There are delays at time, but I would rather the doctor take the time with each patient even if it means waiting a little longer to see him. The office help is always polite and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Diggle. The doctor always makes room for an animal in an emergency situation.

Dr. Erin Bortz is the person we use. She is terrific. She is a recent graduate. My granddaughter interned there over the summer and she loved her. She just loves the animals. I have never sat there for less than 45 minutes. The girls in the office don't tell you that they are running late, or that the doctor has an emergency.

The veterinarian over there is Dr. Diggle. He is the in charge of Dumont Animal Hospital. He is very conscious. My cat's leg was hurt and by the time I took my cat there, he said that he could do x-rays now or wait for about a week and see if the medication helps. I felt it was a wonderful option. I went for the medication and it turned out that my cat just had a muscle strain and the medication took care of that. His staff is very pleasant. I never had to wait in the office. I will be taken in within ten minutes of my appointment time. I would use their service in the future too.

I was able to get a same day appointment, which is needed when a dog has an acute problem. Long wait made worse by my nervous dog. Dr. Diggle was very gentle and caring as always. Staff work well with him. Diagnosis was correct and treatment worked within 48 hours

Wait time was pretty good. Our appointment was for 8:15am. The wait was only about ten minutes. Later in the day it can take considerably longer. Handling in the examination room was excellent.

Professional. Reasonably priced. Have confidence in Dr. Diggle.

HE IS EXCELLENT AND HIS STAFF IS WONDERFUL. HE DOESN'T EVEN CHARGE FOR EMERGENCY SERVICE. I BROUGHT MY DOG IN AT 5:30 AND DR. DIGGLE STAYED WITH MY DOG UNTIL 8:00 WITH NO CHARGE FOR AN EMERGENCY VISIT. HE ONLY CHARGED THE REGULAR OFFICE VISIT FEE.

Dumont Animal Hospital is a very good vet clinic. We take all of our pets there. The place is clean and everyone associated with it is friendly, professional and courteous. This clinic is very responsive. I also like the fact that it is local and affordable.

I WOULD SAY THAT THEY ARE GOOD AND COMPASSIONATE. THEY TOOK GREAT CARE OF MY DOG AND THEY FOUND THE PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
