A FIORE

Alan Fiore gave me the most expensive quote of all 5 contractor that I inquired with. Many was on Angie's List for my area. They claimed to have the best reputation. I gave them the work based on that reputation. Alan wanted 50% up front in order to buy futures on the asphalt. I gave him a $3000 dollar deposit. He ever even called or follow up with my job until late May. My wife an I had to call several time before Alan will call us back. His brother Andy does all the work. He is very abusive to his workers and constantly yell at them. Two days after my driveway was paved, two puddles appeared. When Alan came by for his final payment I pointed them out to him. To my surprise, he did not stand by his work, and merely said that on the bottom of his contract "Not responsible for standing water when a 2% grade or less is present." No attempt to satisfy me or correct the situation. Alan keep yelling that I was a jerk and that his work was perfect! If it was perfect, why was the puddles there? When they excavate the existing drive way, they move my stone edge alone my drive way. Alan and Andy both re-asure me that they will do a professional job and reposition the stones before they pave. To my surprised, they never reposition anything. My drive way look like a complete mess. Gagged edge every where. When I confronted Alan, he said "you pay me to pave, not lining up the stone." Alan Fiore threaten to sue me if I don't way. He tells me that he has Lawyers on retainer and he has never loss in court. This statement makes me wonder how many other customers have he bullied and sued over bad work. He was so abusive that my wife had to call the Police. I have attached picture for you all to see. Stay away! Alan over promise and under deliver.
