I ordered for 3 years straight. The price was always around the same 175 as posted here on Angie's list. The second year it was 165 because he said summer prices. Lasts year he said 185 on the phone. Then I txt him and asked why not 165. He text back that was before June 31st but meet you in the middle and give a little extra 175. Every one of these years no delivery charge. This year 190 plus 35 delivery charge. I questioned it he said he would do the 175 but still a 35 dollar delivery charge. When I said I need to look else where then he lectured me on knowing what I was getting and that he was nice an honored last years price even though he didn't when you add in the delivery charge which was never charged before and is not even listed here in his pricing. George I read the other review where you called the guy a lair I have the txt to prove it. I won't use this guy again even if it means paying more. I am and always have been a loyal customer till you mess with me then I'm gone!

Great. Quick response, quick delivery. George was up front about the wood that I wanted was not properly seasoned, so instead of selling more expensive product that was not ready, went with a product that was ready to go now.

Ordered cord of wood from George and within two days he had it delivered/stacked. Fair price given they had to deliver all the way from New Jersey to the Northern Philly 'burbs + stack it. Wood was excellent quality. Highly recommend.

Rude Unprofessional. Never delivered anything. He set up a date and time, I waited, then he didn't show. Second time same thing, same waiting for him, again no show. He called the following day looking to try again. When I said whenever, he got belligerent. I told him he could come or not, I don't care. He told me to shove it up my ****. I would stay away from this guy. Seems like the type to bang his head, then blame you and then get violent.

Green core (seasoned) firewood. then promptly distracted me on the way out to my truck with questions of street drugs. Super nice place if your s total a piece of sh**. Don't go period (.)

I highly recommend Nick’s Seasoned Firewood. Purchasing seasoned firewood can be hit or miss, and in my experience mostly MISS. I finally found a really good firewood supplier, and purchased from him for years. He recently retired so I was back to the drawing board. Thankfully I found Nick’s! Excellent customer service, quick response, great and fair pricing, and the firewood IS seasoned! I highly recommend Nick’s, will definitely purchase firewood from Nick’s again, and encourage you to give them your business.

Absolutely great---I called George on a Saturday afternoon---I live in West Chester and it's a little bit of a haul from where he is in Deptford. He wanted me to text him the address. He called me back in about 15 mins with a price for everything---2 cords of oak, delivery and stacking--very reasonable price. He told me he could delivery Sun or Mon. Mon am, George called me at 9 am and he was in my driveway an hour later with one cord. Left a guy here to stack the wood and drove to and from Deptford NJ with the 2nd cord. Wood was nicely stacked and he cleaned up. Haven't had chance to burn the wood yet but the service was outstanding.

I have been buying firewood for over 25 years. It has been very difficult to get a reliable company. George was amazing! Great family tradition in the firewood business! He delivers EXACTLY what you order...want to pay an upcharge for all Oak or Cherry...he delivers all Oak and Cherry! Wood is seasoned and 100 percent usable...no junk thrown in! Top that off with great delivery, being there when he says he is coming...George has my business!
