George and his team did a fantastic job with remodeling our bathroom. Unbelievably smooth process from start to finish. Would and will hire again!!

George and his team did an amazing job on my new bathroom! They worked efficiently and got the job done quickly. They were easy to work with and George answered all the questions I had. If we have more renovations in the future, George is the only one I’d call!

George and his crew (Dave) were amazing to work with! From planning, to permits, layouts and every detail that goes into gutting and redoing our home was a breeze! George is extremely easy to work with, and we were happy to see him every day for 6 months!! George is punctual and shows up when he says, he works hard and even showed up during snow storms and weekend when needed. George stuck to his timeline and always communicated with us...even answered my 100 phone calls. He has an attention to detail that is unlike any other. We have two small boys and he made sure to keep all construction areas safe for them and even showed up with hammers and safety glasses so they could help knock walls down!!! I have reccomended George to a half a dozen friends already and will continue to do so!! Such a pleasurable experience and an all around great guy to work with... he truly remade our dream home!!!

George and his team came out and did a great job remodeling our kitchen. When i had contact George he came that night to go over what we were planning and gave a estimate quickly. Throughout the project he was always available for questions and always showed up at the house on time and always provided me with an update before he left. He gave a great list of vendors who were all easy and a pleasure to work with and their prices were good. The team made the job quick and painless. I would highly recommend George and team for a project and will be using him again.

Excellent. Never a problem working with the cheerful contractor team. They are tidy, they communicate extremely well as to schedule, time on site, project status, and any issues that arise during the work. For example, when a problem arose in our bathroom renovation because the countertop company mis-measured the countertop, the Traditional Remodeling team had to quickly change and adapt to the countertop company's delayed delivery date, and yet they did so with a professional attitude and no trouble to us. Seriously: they make remodeling so easy we are doing multiple projects per year because it is not a burden on a busy family. The deck replacement was fast. Because Traditional Remodeling does the scheduling and project management, I can honestly say that everything within their control was done perfectly on time on every project we've worked with them on. We've been very pleased with their work - there's been no "re-work" since project completions. We look forward to having this company complete our remodeling projects for this house.

It went very well. He was energetic and pleasant to work with. He work non-stop to remove and replace a deck. It is important to me to be able to ask questions and George was patient, supplied extra samples and suggested few options to reduce the cost. He even repaired few items like a broken electric outlets as he became aware of them. I gave him a highest rating for his work.

Beyond expectations. The work is amazing. Our bathroom is now officially our favorite room in the house. We have guests linger in the bathroom admiring the details. George was able to help us keep the character of the house while updating and giving it a homey-modern feel. He attended to every detail and managed to do exceptional work in the face of working in the busiest part of our house in a home that includes two adults, three kids and a puppy. He was always here before he said he would be and worked all day - each day we admired his process and couldn't wait for the next day to see what would transpire. Our house is tricky, but we couldn't be happier with the results, how fast it was completed, and the minimal mess. We are deciding on the next phase of the project and hope it will be soon!

He did a great job keeping the same footprint while making the room feel bigger and more open. He is very good at keeping track of the job, paying attention to details and keeping me informed. We would definitly hire him again to remodel our second 1950's bathroom, when the time comes.

Never having hired someone for a job this complicated and expensive, we did lots and research and a few interviews.  We knew George was the right person when he looked at the tiny kitchen and bath and offered solutions; others just stood there saying it was going to be nearly impossible to give us what we wanted. George is down to earth, professional, knowledgable and made it all happen using the right team. His men even threw in a couple of extras that we hadn't even addressed. I would not hesitate to use his services again. I only apologize for waiting this long to review his company.  A good sense of humor was also appreciated.

Our experience was great. Reno is never easy, but George and all of his subs made it as easy as possible. They were always on time and did what they said they were going to do. They even took extra care to accommodate our nervous cats. George's responsiveness to questions was great and he has a giant pile of patience. Although we had delays with missing parts, everything went pretty smoothly. They did everything they said they were going to do and it is clear that George cares about the quality of the work.

My wife and I cannot say enough good things about George Ellenberg and his team!  He is what every good contractor should aspire to be.  His communication, his suggestions, and follow through were all more than we expected.  He stripped the bathroom down to the studs and removed all the debris the same day.  Since our home was built in 1928, all of the studs on one wall were bowed and he had to tear them out and rebuild the frame.  Due to some unforeseen delays of receiving a couple of new replacement items, George came back at least twice long after the job should have been completed.  All in all, a great experience and I would recommend Traditional Home Contractors to anyone.

The owner,George Ellenberg ,personally supervised and participated in the performance of all of the work. He was always on time and kept all of his promises. We were so comfortable with George that we never got around to signing the actual contract for the work to be performed. All work was performed in an efficient and competent manner at a very fair price. When we had significant water damage to our living and dining rooms due to a storm we called George for help. He came right over at night and helped us minimize the impact. When the storm was over he immediately got to work repairing the damage. Again all work was excellent. George is completely trustworthy and his work is first rate. We recommend him highly.

From start to finish working with Traditional Home Contractors on our kitchen renovation was a pleasure. 
Our main contact, George Ellenberg, was knowledgeable, totally professional, courteous at all times and trustworthy. He offered design ideas,answered without hesitation any questions we had and  recommended suppliers who could help us with our decisions. The suppliers we chose all performed to our complete satisfaction as George predicted they would. 
The work performed by Traditional Home Contractors met all our expectations and even surpassed some. Our new kitchen is beautiful!
George always kept us informed regarding the work schedule, advising us the times when certain aspects of the job would take place, etc. Work progress followed his schedule almost to the letter. Very impressive. The only delay we encountered was waiting for inspectors to arrive. George even kept tabs on them to insure they would arrive when they said they would.
Traditional Home Contractors prices are competitive and reasonable. 
 
We will definitely use Traditional Home Contractors again and will not hesitate to recommend them to our friends.
 

George and his team started my bathroom remodel the day after one of the worst snowstorms of 2014,    They tackled the job as it was a spring day and even shoveled my walk and driveway.   My floors were carefully protected and there was no damage to any of the walls after they took all of the debris down from the 2nd floor to garbage.  
George is not only a great contractor but he is also knowledgeable about the design process and made excellent suggestions to ensure a perfect outcome.   He was patient and responsive to emails, texts and phone calls.
The sub-contractors were great too and the plumber repaired a leak enabling me to use a shower that I wasn't able to use for 15 years.
My bathroom is beautiful.  Kudos to Traditional Home!

Gutted bathroom down to studs & removed soffit over shower area. Had electrical & plumbing updated. New sheetrock & durarock installed w/3 coats of spackle. Installed new shower pan, vanity, medicine cabinet, vent fan & toilet. Tiled floor, 7' high in shower area & 3' high around rest of bathroom.
Took 2 weeks for entire project, minor delay due to town inspectors. Cost of services do not include tile or new fixtures/appliances.
George was the only contractor that came out to look at job site, others contractors I contacted did not call back or gave rough estimate over phone. He is very prompt at answering calls or if you you leave a message on his phone(He returned my call while he was on vacation to answer question I had before job started).
I highly recommend him and looking forward to working with him again!

All completed according to schedule with minor delay for delivery of certain cabinetry. All the painting was neat and very clean. Also, advice regarding decisions and selection were very helpful.

George was great from the time he came to provide me with the estimate until the final work was completed.  He also followed-up with me after completion to ensure everything was going fine with the kitchen.  My kitchen remodel was a full gut to the studs and everything was new.  George completed the tasks on time and always ensured that I was kept informed of each step in the process.  The job was completed within ~5 weeks. 
His price was very competitive and the work was top notch.  Much of the work was completed when I was at work and I felt very comfortable with George and his main subcontractors being in my house when I was not home.  Kudos also go to his great electrical and plumbing subcontractors.  
I am also going to use George in the near future for some additional work needed on my house

George Ellenberg was always prompt, even in the chaos after the hurricane. His work was carefully planned and very neat. His subcontractors know their jobs. With this job and other jobs over the years he has been able to find ways to get us what we want at a price we can afford. His tile work is especially nice and he has made really excellent suggestions about colors.  The work he did has stood up well. We will certainly use him again.

They did wonderful work. They came in on time, were very professional and very reasonable. They just finished up and we're going for final inspection tomorrow.

Traditional Home has restored my faith in contractors. I wish I had known about this company and used it in the past. I certainly will use them in the future. My second floor renovation looks wonderful and it feels like I am in a new house. The work was handled with professionalism and to my standards without any excuses, and in fact, cheerfully. I was kept informed of schedules both long range and daily. Input was given and questions answered at any time including weekends and evenings. Appointments were kept at while I was selecting supplies and contractor was up to date with current styles and new products and was available for input at any time. The construction felt like it was being done by someone who cared about my home, my schedules, and my overall satisfaction.  I was comfortable dealing with the construction and going to work knowing things would progress to my satisfaction while I was gone. The outcome is better than I anticipated. Excellent quality workmanship done by an honest vendor at competitive rates is something to be valued. I look forward to using Traditional Home Contractors again without any hesitation.
